Hasbro China has announced a new series and toyline called Transformers: Nezha-

China Central Television (CCTV) is all set to air Transformers: Nezha (formerly known as Nezha And The Transformers); an exclusive animated series for China, early next year.

According to several sources which contacted us, Stephen Davis – Hasbro’s ‎Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President (Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Robots In Disguise) and a contingent of Hasbro officers visited CCTV to promote the upcoming show.

During the press conference, the team has announced a toyline for the series which consists of Scout, Warrior, Ultra and Ultimate class figures among many others. We did not receive any word regarding the exclusivity of the line, but it may probably reside within China and Chinese Territories.

Following the event, a list of toys got leaked on Baidu. We cannot verify the authenticity of the list, but the information does match up with what we’ve heard. You can check out the full list, after the jump.

We expect to hear the same news on an official capacity very soon.

Interestingly, when I looked this up (because I wanted to check out the historical legend of Nezha) I discovered that this was first announced last year. Which I think must have passed everyone by. Which is weird.

From the listings I'm going to guess that it's re-packaged nu-RiD, and that the "spark armour" is those Prime/Grimlock/Bumblebee/Sideswipes Legion-esque figures with their power-up armour. But we'll see...

Could also be referencing something planned for Cyberverse that hasn't been announced yet. Or mixing the two.
Because nurid doesn't have any scout equivalent.
It's also plausible some of this may be completely new, too. Nezha him/herself would be a new toy.

I noticed the 2017 announcement that no site mentioned, too.
And honestly, this line is way more interesting to me than the "Is this generations, cyberverse, or studio series?!?" lists we've been mulling over for months. 99% of that is logical deduction done in five minutes.
But there's too many variables here, and nothing is an exact one on one fit.

Well, we know what the Spark Armor is now, and this is almost certainly a rebranding of Cyberverse with a new show.

Something popped up a few days back on TFW that Hasbro was interested in releasing the show stateside

Followed by a slew of people lamenting on the fact Hasbro was pandering to the chinese by Hasbro Asia writing this series for themselves using chinese mythology instead of greek.
(While pointing out it's okay if Takara uses japanese myths for japanese TF series because hasBLOWS, amiright?)

Animation takes a while. This was announced December 2018. I imagine it will be a while yet before any further information comes out.

But, given the measurements from the ruler in that top picture, I'd say they're more like legends than Warrior class or one-step changers.
