We have a splendid local cafe which has been closed since October due to restrictions. It has re-opened as a takeaway with full menu until it is allowed to have people sit-in again. Very pleased as we were worried it would go under. Had a huge takeaway lunch and now can barely move. Cheesey meatball melt toasties with salad. Carrot cake, brownies and hot chocolate. Worth every penny and nice to (briefly and at a distance) say hello to the staff again. They've used lockdown to have the place redecorated and it looks great.

Got a craving for a gravy-based Sunday dinner at lunchtime today, but had more than enough potatoes for the week due to the lovely spiced wedges sold in the office canteen. So checked the freezer, found half a dozen frozen pigs in blankets and a pack of breaded mushrooms.
So having a pigs in blankets, breaded mushrooms and gravy Sunday dinner. With American Pickers on the telly.

Oh, and a hot bake-in-the-oven baguette to mop up the gravy.
Washed down with the Coke Zero that came with last night's Burger King delivery.
Followed up with the cappucino cake I bought yesterday from Coffee #1, with Elmlea.
And then, perhaps a nap...
