I returned to the Fortress Minimus last night to discover the expected Red Card of Annoyance on the doormat. I suspect that it was indeed this figure given that the name on the address was my maiden name (and that's entirely my fault for not having to update my Paypal details these past... er... two and a half years).

Sending payments doesn't always send your address across, I've had to get people to confirm their address to me as well a few times when they've paid for commissions.
