I really feel your art has moved to a whole new level with this strip, Andy. There's almost an Arthur Ranson vibe going on with some of this, and the use of perspective gives the characters real depth. The facial features and variety of poses is huge; this is excellent stuff.

My inking not art I would say.
The reason for it, is for time constraints it's almost rotoscoping. I take screencaps (which is what I did to start with) but rather than draw them out by hand.
A rough red line pencil over the caps and then I ink. Similar to what Ben Templesmith did with his Doctor Who special. So I can't say it's the whole art, but my inking and approach to blacks and shading is getting better.

the 3 panel daily strip has it's advantages for playing with pacing for things like this.
Let's you stretch things out a little.
Often found horror comics to be a bit of a let down as the suspense isn't always there.
