I do however struggle with the concept of the hero magically knowing and acting on stuff that he could only learn by dying!

because then we won't overpay for the clothes and then irritate the toy seller. Backtracking one command we can do. OCD wise that also means we'll keep all the POI ticked off, which we don't get points for, but for 1000% completion is... nice.

Martin True, but that's kinda the way games work. You always have a handful of different save states for security. This will also save us a good couple of nights of backtracking and it means we don't have to remember to SAVE all the time. Most games autosave these days. True, but that's kinda the way games work. You always have a handful of different save states for security. This will also save us a good couple of nights of backtracking and it means we don't have to remember to SAVE all the time. Most games autosave these days. It gives the hero something of a Groundhog Day-type omniscience. Martin |

There's a long queue towards a security check gate where they even seem to be performing X-Rays of people. Scattered around there is something of a middle eastern bazaar. Several people in various attires grouped around many different stalls, all selling and buying various wares. Of them a few catch your eye, one selling toys, clothing, knock off sunglasses and of course several of various delicious smelling international cuisines.

Very true. I try not to. However, leaving a finger in is the same as a game save, so not doing so would be like playing this game with no saves at all!
And practically speaking, if we did revert to the last save, or the start, all we'd do is repeat all the instructions to get back to 2.33 anyway, so all we're doing is saving ourselves a couple of dull evenings repeating ourselves.
Anyway.
SAY to clothes seller, "Your Mexican clothing, I'll offer you the going rate for a poncho and a sombrero. 4SP?"
