Primals growing on me, though he does seem to bounce between two different voices.
Dinobots performance has been great, helped by getting the best of the back story and character and not just being a bad impression of the old shows Dnobot.

Watched it on and off yesterday. I think it's the least bad of the 6 Rooster Teeth TF shows though the one with the worst writing. It didn't annoy me as much but was quite boring.
Och well.
I am unconvinced the three WFC shows tie together as a coherent story though.

Ive been thinking about this too much. The toyline and cartoon are completey out of order.
Should have been Seige, Kingdom, Earthrise.
For toys that would have meant we didnt get Cybertronian then Earth modes of the same characters within months of each other.
For the cartoon it would have meant not getting the non sensical Earthrise series.
Seige could have been compressed down to 4 episodes by cutting the zombie stuff and some trims elsewhere. The first 3 episodes of Kingdom could be compressed in to 2 (seriously the most boring bit of the trilogy)
Take the cybertron to Earth via dead universe stuff from ER.
And then do a proper Earthrise series at the end.

Earth isn't even in the show. The planet is only referred to as "another one of those organic planets" in the show.

After a very busy weekend, I settled down to watch this last night with no expectations and really enjoyed it. Yes, there were the usual annoyances but on the whole I appreciated it for what it was: Thoughts: ~ I liked the the cast. No, I'm not talking about the actors, but the fact that I was watching a show with Original Transformers characters alongside Beast Wars characters as well as the odd Movie characters altogether and interacting with each other. Who would have thought we'd have a show with Megatron, Beast Megatron and Galvatron in it? The only problem with this was that it made Rodimus a huge missing piece to go alongside Optimus Prime & Primal. ~ I liked the music and the visuals in this one too. {Spoiler}~ Loved the way all the dead characters appeared at the end. Also liked the way the Allspark was also made into the afterlife as it was in Beast Wars as well as being what it has become since the Movies onwards.
~ Dinobot's death was a bit of a crappy knock off quality version of the original.
~ The new take on Beast Wars Megatron really annoyed me at first until I decided to view him as a younger more naive version of the clever manipulative tyrant we know.
~ Some BW voices were as spot on as they could be (Cheetor, Rattrap, Blackarachnia) and others were painfully off (Megatron, Dinobot & Tigatron)
~ Liked the fact that everyone teamed up at the end. When they departed, it did give me Cyberverse vibes.
All in all, it entertained me as a timeline that veers off from what we know. Actually hoping there will be another series - there is certainly still a story to tell. Edit: Oh and Prowl was in it wasn't he. I liked the way he kept looking at the camera, almost breaking the fourth wall as if he was desperately trying to see if a certain someone was watching his TV performance in order to fulfil some deep need for worth and achievement. |

it just sounds generally a bit shit or if not actually shit just not my thing.
That the VERY MOST Prowl's involvement is fleeting and fairly dull. So hasta lasagne.
