Stalker isn't a Turbomaster though.
However Stalker is a toy I did used to own. I lament the fact he seems to have become lost to the mists of time. I've no idea how he became separated from the main transformers boxes. I remember fondly looking down his barrel. If Doubledealer gets done as him in Selects I would have to get him.

The positioning of the petrol pump on Greasepit has annoyed me since I first saw it Wrong place, cuts of access to that side's Airlock clip and when I got it out the box it turns out the connection is *slightly* tenuous Then I spotted a square hole in the back of the pump's base in some pictures and thought "I wonder if that could fit on part of the airlock clip" Turns out it can..... but the pegs for it's intended attachment prevent it from recessing properly. No matter, I've got five of the ******s, I can risk modifying one. Out came the knife and sliced the pegs off one: The hole goes over the smaller bit of the Airlock connector on the left Some comparison pics: And finally the Greasepit ring base:

That does look good. If they knocked these out in different colours you could make quite a varied city. I wonder how far this is going. Are we going to get more airlock bases in Kingdom or is this a one year gimmick. It needs the variety the original Micromasters had to make really impressive and varied cities for those of us just buying the one of each character.

Even if Kingdom avoids new bases (unless they redid the old mini BW playsets). Selects is where we could see more repaints.

Wait till Hothouse and Airwave are added.....
I'll do a pic of both base rings joined up tomorrow.
Greasepit's base configuration annoys me cos it cuts off though passage over two of the connectors. It is - thanks to the arm across the back - MUCH more stable though

Honestly that pump was so easy to do and it improves it so much I can't see why they didn't do it like that to start with

Just thinking about them micros. Were Hasbro thinking far enough ahead with this? Surely if they knew they were going to do the four 89 bases, it would make sense to pick the characters from the patrols for their two packs that would double up as the micros from the bases? Why do High Jump, remoulded into the unnecessary Ricon, when doing Mudslinger with Powertrain would allow for a Greasepit repaint?
Hot House is harder to find a match for because you can't imagine doing the air strike patrol without Whisper and you need Storm Cloud for Airwave. But they could have done Sunrunner instead of Flak, which would give you another plane good enough to do Hothouse from.
If they had the four and kept them for a Selects pack, that would have been wonderful. Instead, two of them randomly appeared in the target ten pack.

Selects Exhaust has arrived and is untransformable.
I'm rather sad about that. The head will not rotate at all and there's some tolerance issue on one of his arms that won't let it quite swing into the right place for car mode. Shame, he looks so good.

Head is a common problem: IIRC Llama God got round it by shaving a bit but there is a disassembly and correctly reassemble method too which I'll dig out. Must check mine!

The only part I can see to shave is on his shoulder, there's nothing visible on the head panel thing.
Not 100% comfortable taking him apart. I'm a clumsy boy!

Cheers, Phil. I’m really not comfortable pulling him apart yet, so right now he’s a chunky Action Master.

Basically I had to pop Wheeljack’s head off (which was scary), then rotated the part it’s attached to the wrong way (which you can’t normally do because the head’s on) so I could get to the back of the part and shave some plastic off; it’s an excess of plastic that prevents it from passing through the gap the correct way around, and thus preventing the head from being able to move into the chest cavity.

Do it very slowly and dramatically while constantly moving your arms, just like in the thrilling Netflix show.

I have been told that Exhausts head isn't on a ball joint. Or at least there's a running change, not sure if that's true, but my Exhausts head isn't coming off, it's on fast.

I will say that Wheeljack's head was on quite firm, and it was really hard to get it off (quiet at the back) - in the end I had to prise it off with a screwdriver. And I know that others have said that Exhaust's head is on a similary ball joint. But I won't insist you use yet more force than you're comfortable with - if there has been a running change that'll suck on many different levels.
