Off:
-Shoulders are black
-Knees are silver
Missiles and launchers are wrong for both G2 and G1
-Wrong symbols
-Details in the intakes/shoulder pylons are wrong
-Missing details on the top of the intakes on vehicle
-Missing foot details
None of these things are a dealbreaker, but combined they all contribute to the "off" feeling

Yes, I think it's the plumb from the original one that the Timelines one just about holds onto through the red details. Toyhax will fix that. Couple of red stickers on the knees and some silver on the intakes and it'll be grand.
I'm loving these purple/turquoise figures.

Which makes it weird that I'm continued to be allowed to post here, but here we are...
And yes, this looks really nice. I'm just desperately trying not to pre-order it because I don't have a single one of the Earthrise See- Attack Jets, and now is really not the time to start.

I don't either, but this is the one I'm going for. Like the only Siege jet I got was Redwing, I figure I can cope with one off the wall character version of a toy. And this is G2 so my defenses were already weakened.

And what could they do that would make it dfferent enough from Siege Red Alert? Fortunately Siege Red Alert has done us a favour there because it's legs are white as per the cartoon, something I'd not twigged till recently. I think there's FOUR solid coloured frames in the Siege Sideswipe mould plus a clear one. Frame A is the car bodywork, robot shoulders and back of the lower legs. Annoyingly the missile appears to be on this frame. Frame B is the hands, waist, leg fronts and head. It's usually black but all these parts change together on G2 Sideswipe & Selects Deep Cover Frame C is the arms and upper legs. This is the frame I'd have had the missile on! Frame D is the wheels, which has been Black everytime. So for Clampdown I think: Frame A: White
Frame B: Black
Frame C: Red
Frame D: Black So could someone digibash those colours onto Sideswipe/Red Alert to see what it looks like? The major difference from Siege Red Alert would be red arms from below the shoulders to above the wrists & red upper legs. Would it get the Red Alert Head in black - it's Black anyway, just painted, on Red Alert or the Sideswipe head to further set it apart? |

Selects doing a titan - see - opens up some interesting options. I know at least one of the chums had been waiting for a certain Siege Titan to be repainted. Now Selects is doing them, it's one step closer reality! |

There are only three I would go after.
RiD Fortress Maximus
RiD Landfill
G2 Devastator
BWII Gigastorm
And I'd prefer Gigastorm to be a retool of SS86 Grimlock, to be honest.
I'd also prefer no Devastator ever happen. I hate that mold.
But of course, I'd have had Black Zarak on the list of "will never buy as a titan," before yesterday.
