If it's got a product number it's much more likely to be coming. And the people the numbers come from have been verified to be right over multiple years.
You can find the product numbers on the boxes and, usually, printed on the toys

Kind of regret skipping the Hotshot version of Hound which worked much better for me. Also probably would have made for a better Ironfist. I would have bought the Hot Shot version in a moment, but I never saw it anywhere. It slipped me by. Not touching aftermarket prices either! |

So you're buying this new one then, right? Not sure. I don't want to get I to the madness if updating everyone. But, I can't think of any other Autobot car characters who require it. I didn't go for the newer Mirage, or Ironhide. I keep thinking about Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus Prime, but he's silly money now. |

Particularly as the mold he's homaging is better than the siege hound mold. |

Looking at it on Kapow I just got a sudden blast of the excitment Kingdom Prime would have generated in me at one time. As a kid I would have spent hours staring at it in the argos catalogue. 15 years ago and right up until around Titans Return I would have been out hunting for one as soon as they were sighted.
The barrage of Optimus Primes* followed by the incremental improvement of the same design again and again is just sapping the fun.
*Ironhide, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, Kup, Hot Rod, Arcee,... even effing Impactor!
