I can see Astrotrain, Shockwave, Alpha Trion, Frenzy, Perceptor, Blaster, Dirge and Blitzwing plus an oversize Devastator. Blaster, Blitzwing, Dirge & Perceptor survive from those initially announced. Prowl & Reflector seemingly dropped. Astrotrain, Shockwave, Alpha Trion, Frenzy and the oversize Devastator added.

You know, I think more people would be interested in investing in this line if out the gate, they started mixing in things never (or rarely) done before, along with the same exact core characters that everyone (including hasbro) keeps churning out. · Autobot X · Nightbird · Devcon · Sparkplug, Spike, and Carly minifigure 3-pack · Chip, Lord Chumly, Dr Archival 3-pack · Spike, Carly, and Daniel Yes! The great thing with most of these are that they fit in with the normal Transforming collection because (with the exception of Devcon) they don't need to transform. I want a Lord Chumley figure now more than anything!

I personally would be all over these if they weren't exclusively Sunbow based, but also mixed in figures based on José Delbo's, Geoff Senior's, and Andrew Wildman's artwork.

The strange thing is that this range should be right up my street but I keep forgetting about them until this thread updates. -Ralph

I'm very surprised Lord Chumly didn't get used in Animated. He was right up that show's alley.
And that seems to be the way with all Re:Action figures. They're very forgettable. I cannot think of any other toyline that has aquired so many licenses, and produced so many figures, yet has left almost no impact.
Re:Action seems to have no ardent hardcore fanbase, like Funko Pop does. It doesn't seem to entice fad collectors like bobbleheads or beanie babies did. It doesn't pull in the nostalgia market the way Kenner replicas do. The people I've seen get excited over Re:Action tent to be very niche interest, like in this thread. By that I mean getting intensely excited over a specific character, but only maintaining mildly positive to ambivalent enthusiasm over the subline of related figures as a whole.
I've never come across anyone who actually does more than cherrypick, and even those collectors seem to be rare.
I don't know who buys them in enough numbers that Super7 can keep cranking them out and keep acquiring more and more licenses.

Lord Chumley needs to come with his butler Dimsmore.
And a three pack of Basso Profundo, Elegra and the other one would be an instant buy.

That's a good size. Might get the Alpha Trion to go with my AMs.

But... are they worth the cost?

If they had knee joints and ball joint hips, I'd say they'd be a great Actionmaster alternative, given they're probably cheaper. But these cost only slightly less than a deluxe with better sculpt, better articulation, and can actually transform.

Sweet Jeepers I could so easily totally loose my shit and buy ALL OF THESE. I thought that until I saw some in a shop. £19...er, no. At a tenner, I'd bite. They also look a bit crap in real life (like all Re-Action figures). Lovely cards though. -Ralph

The closeup pictures of these make them look like someone's knocked them out on a 3D printer. They look awful.

As much as I'm firmly in the Rumble is red group, if I see the purply one in the cartoon or associated media (which these clearly are) I just see cartoon Rumble. This toy is certainly allowed to be called Rumble.

Well they’ve gotten that wrong. The whole appeal of Action Master Devastator was that he was completely the wrong size. This is closer to being the right size, and what’s the point of that?
And yes, I know these aren’t actually Action Masters. And this will be what some people want, and I can see them having fun with this. But these certainly aren’t for me.

I thought they would be for me but when I saw some in FP Brum just before the great lockdown I thought they looked crap and double the price of what they should be. But then ReAction figures in general look like Poundland crap.
RED is more up my street.
