It's just how Pinwig rolls...
He sees something he wants, and he takes it. No matter what the consequences to Delta Force lieutenants with their shirts open.

Pinwig...
Five billion years from now...
Stood on a tortured rocky planet, gazing up at its red giant Sun.
The planet is breaking apart. Pinwig picks up a smoldering lump of rock and regards it. "Thank you" he whispers.
Then, as the planet breaks apart around him, he flies up into space.
He turns, and watches, for a long time. Motionless. Unable to look away. As the angry red giant star leisurely swallows the planet...
A wave of sadness washes over him, surprising him. He's not felt sadness for a long time. Then his whispers again, but this time into the vacuum of space, "Goodbye".
Although the planet was a long parted cradle, it is a heartfelt goodbye...
from humanity...
to planet Earth.

I'd go for five billion years. I might stand a chance of getting everything done then.
