We raised this matter last weekend: How many Ironworks does Phil need? I would say given Warden indicated there will be three more MM bases in the Deluxe size that one is enough! This is the voice of a man who is not yet thinking big enough in terms of Micromaster cities. There's also the supplementary matter of "do I need a second Wheeljack to nick the cannon from?" to consider.....

It's more the voice of a man who sees each figure as an individual personality. You can't have two Ironworks just to expand a city - Ironworks is a unique individual!

Tut tut, Pinwig. I do not think you fully understand how to construct New Micromaster City.

Thinking about it, we may well know the Voyager line up for Earthrise. Assume the same number of voyagers as was planned for Siege - 6 Starscream begats Thundercracker and Skywarp*.
Grapple begats Inferno
Apeface (and Titan Scorponok) implies Snapdragon. * of course one of the jets could end up boxsetted/Selected ala Siege Skywarp. And then there's the Coneheads: If they are coneheading in Earthrise - and if they're not they will in WFC III - then they'd be mainline with the new moulding involved. But there's a fair few Conehead repaints themselves for WFC IIIs S4lects so I think it'd 84 Jets for Earthrise, 85 Jets for WFC III.... At which point we probably should quote this post: How many strike plane characters are there now? Nacelle is a Thrust Repaint, Slipstream would probably be a Thrust repaint too. Sandstorm & G2 Ramjet are Ramjet repaints

Cliffjumper: As shown elsewhere, probably Runamok and Runabout too. Could you do a car accurate Hubcap too? Or is that more a Select thing?
Wheeljack: Sunstreaker and Tracks
Hoist: Trailbreaker
Ironworks: The different coloured Ironworks in the display might be a Greasepit repaint. Even if it isn't, Greasepit, Hot House and Airwave have to be likely at one per wave surely?

Now he is my precious child, I would be sad if Hot House was a big transforming base rather than a little plane

* A commander class that somehow compliments Omega Supreme nicely [ ] This one has been intriguing me, and a thought just occurred - I can't think of any particular character that goes with Omega Supreme, but given Siege Omega Supreme comes with the Countdown micromaster could we see the Countdown rocket base here?

That would be superb, but I think it would have to be a character. Ironworks' base has suddenly become a deluxe size robot. Could Countdown's base become a robot? That would be awesome.

I mean it could, but when was the last time Hasbro made an 'original' character above deluxe size in their generations lines?

Do Alpha Trion, Sentinel Prime & Elita 1 count?
Rodimus Unicronus?
Magnus Prime?

Leader class Roadbuster maybe? Definetly suit armoured car and would suit the add on armour approach to recent leaders.

In the thread people have suggested Rodimus Prime, but if the theory the next line will be TFTM then surely thats when Rodimus is used.

It would need to be clever, like tying it to another character like Galaxy Shuttle, but Omega is a rocket launcher in his own right, would they do another one at a high price point?

Characters who were introduced in the movie who got toys in TR: · Hotrod · Kup · Blurr · Arcee · Scourge · Wheelie · Gnaw · Rewind · Galvatron
This is all so unspecific, that I don't even find it worth speculation.
Everyone's thinking spaceship, but could also be a tank/train designed for his tracks. But I don't think they would do a weaponizer base at that size.

Characters who were introduced in the movie who got toys in TR: · Hotrod · Kup · Blurr · Arcee · Scourge · Wheelie · Gnaw · Rewind · Galvatron If it were any other design team I would assume it would be Hotrod, or Arcee with an earth form. Because we've never gotten either of those. While we have in the past gotten spectacular earth modes for Scourge and Kup, and a lazy one for Blurr. But neither of these concepts are sunbow enough. I don't know who this "catz" leaker is and much of this seems biased by his unknown opinion as to what is redundant or not, so I'm ruling Arcee out. I'm also ruling Galvatron out as that seems out of place in this line and size. They do seem very obsessed with Gnaw though. We got him perfectly in TR. We got another near identical one in Cyberverse, and he was up as a deluxe in the fan vote. So my guesses are a third Sunbow Hotrod, and Gnaw.

Characters who were introduced in the movie who got toys in TR: · Hotrod · Kup · Blurr · Arcee · Scourge · Wheelie · Gnaw · Rewind · Galvatron Hot Rod would make sense if they then do Rodimus in the next line. IF they do TFTM next then Scourge, Wheelie and Gnaw are unlikely, as is Galvatron especially at deluxe. Rewind as a deluxe would be a surprise. Arcee wasnt exactly show accurate or that easy to get so not exactly redundant. So that leaves Blurr and Kup and Hot Rod. Everyone's thinking spaceship, but could also be a tank/train designed for his tracks. But I don't think they would do a weaponizer base at that size. Oh something that extended Omegas track would be great. I guess a new Metroplex or Fortress Maximus could come with a track mode of some kind. I cant decide what sort of fit a commander sized tank or train would be on Omegas existing track. Maybe some kind of train/tank that came with a stretch of track as well? Either way I cant think of many obvious options. Raiden would work maybe but the individual trais would be tiny. The micromaster train set wouldnt add up to a commander class figure unless it was made bigger, but either way tiny trains big track. Rail Racer might work but going fully outside G1 seems unlikely. Tanks? Warpath? Guzzle?

From fiction theres really only the constructicons that could fit commander class and I cant see a scaled down Devastator coming.
Alt modes that fit the rocket base theme. Galaxy shuttle seems to unknown for such a high price point. I'd love a transforming Countdown, but a new character at $80? Cant see it. A Countdown base that transforms in to Metroplex, maybe I could see that. Sky Lynx. Does anyone need a massive $80 Sky Lynx?

Does anyone need a massive $80 Sky Lynx? If I hadn't just got the MMC Skylynx, I'd be screaming that I do. Sentinel Prime. Sentinel Prime fits all these criteria. No 3p. Hasbro's previous version sucks badly. Previous portrayals show him heavily armored. Alpha Trion could also fit this, too.
