Back to games... According to BGG, I have 181 games in my collection.
I have only 6 on my shelf of shame, those games that I have bought and not played. Kind of like TFs that you've left MoC, despite buying them with the intention of fiddling with.
The longest I had a game on there was about 7 years. This was due to two factors, it was a fairly deep game, largely abstract in design and was really designed for 2 players. Finally played it a few weeks back after initially Kickstarting it in 2014. I do have one other approaching thus time, but I didn't even buy that. It was used as packing material on a purchase of something else as the shop was clearing warehouse space. Hardly an advert of quality and incentive to play. Yet, I find joy in most games, even Monopoly which is largely shunned by people as deep into the hobby as me.
Most of my shelf of shame are expansions though, total 24!

I really do suck at Splendor. I just can't ever seen to come up with a long term plan for efficiency. Maybe I need to reserve more, but it always seems a waste of a turn.
