The worry is that Ralph has kept his collection svelt for many years now. If he moves in with the to be Mrs. Ralph and a big delivery comes, it may reignite his collector's instincts and then he'll fill the shared abode with Actionmasters and tat.

Nah. That just looks rubbish. My Star Convoy will remain king of the Micromasters and unchallenged. He can square off with CW Leader Megatron if he needs to.

That's a liiiiittle dishonest. They have Star Convoy's legs splayed unnaturally far apart in both forms to make him look smaller.
The "voyager" form they even had to set it almost sideways to hide how far apart his legs are. I'd say he's only a little shorter than megs.

I also thought that this Megatron might be an over-sized version of the Galvatron mold when I first saw it, but after realising that the figures were arranged in the Conservative Party Conference Power Stance pose, I don't think it is at all. Especially when you compare against the smaller figure. It is indeed just a matter of perspective and pose. If anything, what makes the difference would appear to be a slightly bulkier torso when compared to Galvatron, but that's it.
All that said, they nevertheless do look good together, so it's still very tempting.
