I've always liked Cosmos 'Reach for the stars...' quote. Knew straight away what I'd pick and luckily, it was on the list.
It has meaning, fits his personality as well as his vehicle mode.

Mirage's is one of my favourites that's not on the list- "Who and what I am, I haide from my enemies".

Actually, where is "Even one Decepticon is one too many!" ? I stopped just before G2, otherwise "I'm turbocharged and livin' large!" would be on the list. "Even one Decepticon is one too many!" is also just one of many unimaginative variations on the "I hate the enemy" theme, begun by Bluestreak's "I never met a Decepticon I didn't dislike." There are a tedious number of variations on "Conquer the sea/land/air/space/your mind and victory will be yours / your enemies will fall." Slingshot's "I'm even better than I think" almost made the cut. Martin |

"Freedom is the Right of All Sentient Beings" and "Peace Through Tyranny" are the best listed there. Don't lynch me, but I think Brainstorm's is a better freedom-themed motto than Prime's. And "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" isn't quite accurate. "Freedom is a right of all sentient beings" would be better, as sentient beings have other rights too. Plus, criminals don't have a right to freedom. Even Optimus imprisoned Decepticons. Also, it's healthier to look at the world in terms of our responsibilities to one another than in terms of rights to which we're entitled. But anyway. The strongest tyrant cannot crush freedom of thought! Martin |

I quite like Gears’ motto “nobody wins a war, but somebody loses” or something like that. It’s both anti-war and plays on his pessimism!
“Sometimes, if you wait long enough, problems solve themselves” is some great life advice from Slapdash.
And I always find “Unyielding resolve has no conqueror” to be pleasingly terse.
