I was thinking that. £200. What would it need to drop to before I bought one and just used MP10's trailer for display... Not sure on £200. Transform Element's Prime was £90 and it still looks better to me.

Better than £300+ for one with a trailer I dont want.
I already have Mp10 and MP10 Year of the whatever with trailers that have never been out on display because I dont have room for them. And as Pinwig said Im sure MP10s would look fine with MP44 if I felt like it.

That one had gone before it had been. The Megatron is still around. Prime was a Kapow exclusive in this country. I forget who it was sold through in the US.

I had foolishly assumed as it was their exclusive there would be no rush. I increasingly can't be arsed with this current market of 'get exclusive as soon as it comes out or miss out'. Oh well.

It is indeed very annoying. It's also unclear what the current situation is. Will Kapow get more? no idea. It sold out a while before they got them in, then they had a small restock and put the price up. So maybe they'll get a third delivery? Robot Kingdom still have them, but you'd pay over the odds to ship it here as they're asking $40 for the figure alone.

You may actually end up with a similar effect by getting the inevitable cel shaded repro label set they're bound to do for Earthrise Prime.
And someone to put the hated stickers on for you... I did that with the Leader Nemesis Prime and he looks great.

Well Transformers is only one of several hobbies and my income has dropped 5K in the last year so my attitudes to exclusives is that I buy them when I can afford them. Increasingly though, they've become items available in small windows of time. I also don't approve of Kapow, ID etc having the prices on these types of things going up and down. I suppose they get away with it now they have a big chunk of the collector market. Things like shaded Prime I thought: that looks nice and I will have that but as it is not available (despite being brand new) I put this month's small 'funny money' budget towards reduced TNG blu ray set instead. -Ralph -Ralph |

Black doesn't do this figure any favours imo. It's bland enough in both modes as is, black hides the details even further.
