I'll have all the '84ers in a more than adequate modern style. Job done! The effect is beginning to come together. This is just me sticking toys on a desk and some of the minibots are still in the loft, but it's the first time I've had the bulk of the Diaclone dudes together and I'm beginning to think, yep, Sunstreaker, Trailerbreaker and Inferno in there in the next few months and we'll be looking pretty smart. Still not sold on the older Wheeljack and Mirage being replaced and four or five of those Siege ones will get swapped out for the Earthrise versions.  |

I had all mine out last night. MP Frenzy and Rumble do a decent enough job. The Deceptions look AMAZING. Skywarp was such a void. But now... It takes Nostalgasms to a whole new level. MULTIPLE NOSTALGASMS. The Autobots look amazing also, just need Jazz, Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker. But... there is, however, a now obvious MASSIVE HOLE in my '84ers (No it's not Siege Jetfire so fuck off all of you.) Correct Dinobots. Problem. |

If by sharing moulds and engineering with the other beast combiners was the only way we were getting them then I'll take that as a win, but Swoop is he only one that should have been a Deluxe. I'm just worried now that the Studio Series ones will end up being incomplete if that's a limited line.

There's nothing wrong with them. They look *exactly* like the G1 toys. They are the same size so look great together.
My only criticism is that Grimlock should have had his sword and gun.

Not exactly. Slag doesn't have his robot wings, Snarls tail wings are backwards.
Minor quibbles in the grand scheme of things, true, but for me it all added up. Scale was the main issue though.
