Diaclone Ultra Magnus a.k.a. Powered Convoy not only has the best colours, but comes with a Diaclone man and Powered Buggy. But... he isn't Ultra Magnus. He's Powered Convoy. That's like saying Red Alert is Sideswipe. |

Yes but regardless of the choice of name used here, that toy is actually Magnus, whereas Powered Convoy isn't.
However, I see there was a proper toy of Ultra Magnus in the Diaclone colours released as a toy show exclusive in 2001. A movie preview version to reflect the fact Magnus was originally in Diaclone colours in the first film footage. So, LEGAL POLL!

Diaclone Ultra Magnus and Piss Ultra Magnus are equally valid/invalid because in each case half the name is right and half wrong. But not actually Diaclone, though. It's 50-50 whether the name 'Diaclone Ultra Magnus' better describes the Diaclone toy (which wasn't actually Ultra Magnus) or the Transformers toy (which wasn't actually Diaclone). I'm sticking to the former, as it came with POWERED BUGGY! Martin |
