It feels mad to have the next line being leaked so much already when Earthrise hasn't even got to wave 2. Poor Earthrise. It didn't have much time in the sun!

I've been dragging all the Kingdom stuff in here as it made sense to keep it all together while none of it is official from Hasbro but that will change when they officially announce the line

After chewing on this for a while, I've concluded that Cheetor looks less like an update of the original or mainframe, and more like he's an update to and refinement of the U1 toy, to smooth out the really weird parts and make it look more like the original.
At first this was problematic for me, until I realized I have the nearly perfect MP. So I don't mind a minor redesign here, as much as I would before.
THAT CHEETAH MODE IS THE BEST DAMN ALT MODE THEY EVER PRODUCED HOLY FRAK THATS GOOD SHIT

Blackarachnia looks like the MP scaled back until it fits into the deluxe price point and that's just lovely

I can see the Transmetal weapon now I look closely..... Cheetor I'm struggling with, love the original and I've struggled with all bar one of the Cheetors post BW. Feels too tall and stretched out, especially with how the head ends up high on the chest The beast mode is *nearly* OK but the blue bits ticking out the shoulders just look out of place. They *COULD* be 5mm sockets but I'm not sure and even then they'd still look odd  Blackarachnia looks fab, the ony slight problem being the black not gold legs.  She has improved with versions of her show toy from BW to BW Japan to BW Telemocha to Legends tfwiki.net/wiki/Blackarachnia_(BW)/toysOddly I find myself wanting a green armed original US version now Warpath  Can't see enough, but it looks a lot squarer than it ought to. Cheetor's blue beast mode shoulders are interesting because they aren't on the other picture. Maybe they're something to do with manufacturing that hasn't been removed.

Exactly. The blue bits are weird because there's no where obvious for a socket to be on the painted prototype in the other image. Rattrap doesn't have odd shoulder mounts so it seems unlikely they'd want to spoil that nice beast mode by adding something that really doesn't fit in.

Well this is certainly getting a little crazy now. Thing is, if SDCC hasn’t gone ahead, would we have found out about these officially by now? And given Hasbro clearly know this is going on, why don’t they put out an official release? I guess maybe the latter is also tied in to distribution deals or something, but even so...

Cheetor looks the same as the original. Kind of a cross between the original toy and the DREADFUL Universe 2 version  I still maintain that U2 Cheetor isn't a terrible toy on it's own merits. There are a ton of molds that are just absolute trash that get endless praise because they're of more popular characters (like the Seige seekers). It just committed the crime of not being the cheetor update we wanted or deserved. But I think if it got repainted and released as a character more suited to that design, or who just isn't as iconic as Cheetor's original design, a lot of people would change their opinion of it. (TFA Prowl homage repaint for example) |

I do want it in the proper bright yellow Cheetor colours and was disappointed when Universe ballsed it up by making him a mustardy gold instead of bright yellow and doing the clear as red instead of green: |
