Oddly enough I'm not at all interested in Tracks, but I am interested in this Road Rage - maybe because I never cared for Tracks, but have liked Road Rage's portrayal in the current comics. But that can't be right - it's not like all the Transformers tie-in media is just an exercise in selling toys, is it? Is it..?

Hound should come with a new K-9 toy renamed Jeep so as not to confuse kids with Doctor Who.
And still confuse them at the same time.

How many Diaclone repaints have there been so far? For "WfC," not many. Tigertrack Deep Cover Spin-Out Cordon Exhaust Quick check on this because I am not buying these and I haven't at all realised Kapow still have all of them in stock. Of the Diaclone cars the situation seems to be: The five above are done plus Road Rage Ratchet, Inferno, Smokescreen, Hound, Prowl, Jazz, Prime and Grapple are the same colours as the TF ones. Then for a representation of all the original Diaclone cars that had colours different to the TF versions you'd need: Black Ironhide, Blue/Yellow Trailbreaker, Blue Bluestreak, Red/Blue Hoist, Red Mirage, Clampdown, Loudpedal, Delta Magnus and at the moment there's no mould to do Red Skids/Black Skids/Crosscut/Red Crosscut. There do seem to be some obvious ones to do there. Black Ironhide would be cool, and a red Mirage with the right head would be a surefire Selects seller. |

True.
Thing about the list so far is that there isn't a lot of variety. Two Sunstreakers, two Sideswipes and a Wheeljack.
The most interesting are Exhaust and Road Rage because of the different heads.

I do wish they'd done something about Soundwave's feet in alt-mode - they just look clumsy poking out like that. I mean I'll be getting him anyway, but even so.
Now to wonder how long it'll take for 3Ps to provide transformconverting cassettes for this figure...

So certainly no better slotting away than as in the renders considering how their ball joints work.
I was half expecting a Transformers Tuesday email from Pulse today. Guess they’ll call it what they want depending on what day they have stuff to put out .

I would not be surprised to see 3P articulated feet for Soundwave that allow the tips to rotate where the ball of his feet would be, making the top flush in tape deck mode and filling the gap on the side. It's an obvious win.

Oh, I know, but seeing as how Core Optimus doesn't have articulated ankles I think I'd rather they'd just not bothered, and had feet that could flip away instead. Articulated ankles aren't everything. (Says the man with the arthritic ankles, clearly lying.) |
