Ralph, remember this is about their inability to cope with the situation, not your proficiency or general decency as a person. You are a good man!
I'm doing the queuing bit for a weekly shop. Going to be 2.5 hours all told. Everyone is smiling though!

Morning all, A little slow out the blocks on usual business this am, apologies. There were things that needed doing here. And breathe. So today's challenges: hands and things coming into the house. My hands are important to me as I type a lot. But having having been in London with multiple carers coming in and out the house I had no idea of who touched what when. I turned into Lady blinking MacBeth with all the hand washing I was doing. Unfortunately I brought the habit back with me and found I was very quickly having difficulty with dry skin. I've felt challenged to trust the environment I'm in: it's been deep cleaned post builders and cleaned again post BT man. I've been in 3 days now so anything on me or brought in by me would be dead. I believe the house is clean and safe. So the question *THEN* becomes what abut stuff coming in? Neighbours passed box in the window yesterday which I believe is 2 more Soundblasters, the post has arrived today, a veg box is coming, meat is coming tomorrow. The question is how we do this safely and reliably.

You need a 'hot zone'. A certain place were things come in and are either cleaned immediately before moving into the rest of the house, or sit for 24 hours untouched.
Also, two more Soundblasters?

Nervous wreck. 2 hours into work and nothing bad has happened yet but I still jump every time the work phone or laptop pings. 5pm can't get here quick enough. I sent off a grovelling 'will try better' email. Hopefully that will keep them off my back for a day. -Ralph FUCK THEM! Seriously, and recall that email. From what you've told me (which I doubt is the whole story - confidentiality and the like apply) that shower of absolute shitstains can get fucked. As I have said repeatedly - as soon as you are in other employment - go pubic, NAME AND SHAME. Will signal boost the shit out of it. ABSOLUTE DRIBBLES OF FUCKING HUMAN WASTE. Andy

Even though it now takes two and a half hours to do a normal shop, I've decided I quite like social distancing. Having to keep two metres away from anyone near you is quite calming. I think we should adopt this approach in general.
Also, the great toilet paper drought of 2020 appears to be over. But you can't buy dried goods or tins still for love nor money.

Ugh, toilet paper drought still in full effect here. Dry goods finding their way back onto the shelves though. We should trade!

Under 3 hours to go. Staying busy. "Working from home" doesn't really mean lounging around! Er, except for next Tuesday when I need to go in and travel about.

Under 2 hours to go. I've felt so stressed I've been taking the work phone with me when I go to the loo.
Asda weekly run after work. That holds significantly less fear and alarm for me, even in pandemic circumstances.

I found it quite relaxing to be honest. Knowing I was stuck in a queue and couldn't do anything about it. Earphones in listening to this week's Shattered Cast.

Food delivery, or rather the getting it in the house bit, "could have gone better". We'll leave it at that. Tonight's crisis was "Why is the heating not on? I'm freezing!" Massive airlock, not a surprise really. Vented the bathroom radiator, all good.

I too found the social distancing shopping experience strangely relaxing. Everything still in stock, except for toilet rolls of course. Idiots still obsessed with buying reams of it. Clocked off from work 30 mins early as I couldn't take it anymore. -Ralph

They were _very_ good builders. In space, you are safe from the Chaos Bug. Except... I never did understand how the Quintessons/Sharkticons caught the Hate Plague in 'The Return of Optimus Prime', when they weren't on Earth. Martin

Morning All!
Hope all well out there.
First up pray for our Neighbours at Number 1. I could hear one of the kids hacking away during the night. 2 parents + 5 kids in there.
Hands feel better today, feel I managed that bit much better yesterday, Thank You Lord
Today we have a meat delivery: pray it goes better than the veg one yesterday. It's also my first go at opening a box that came in the post but it's been sitting there 24 hours so I'm sure it's safe.
Sinuses are a tad inflamed this morning, but nowhere near what they have been: pray against that too. Ta!
