Curses! Chances are high I won't be able to attend this one - we're out for an anniversary lunch, and then when we get back the Scraplet will doubtless be tired and fussing from that outing, so we will, as ever, have to see how it goes.

I think it's safe to say it's the second best of the three Punisher films. None of them are that good, but the first one has the benefit of having that 80s action flick sheen that makes it appealing to those who remember the good old days.
The Netflix series is the best live action interpretation of the Punisher.

I've never seen Punisher on screen.
For that matter, I don't think I've read any of his comics either, so... that works out even.

Both the Shockprowls on tonight's call have now left.
It was entertaining watching them play each other in chess to prove which one was the real Shockprowl. A real masterclass.

Burns showed me a screengrab with 'Shockprowl' this evening but 1) it wasn't a woman and 2) Shockprowl's image was the only one to show a name. Very odd. Doctored? |

Mr Spence is a man of many faces, not all of them human.
Was lovely to go outside with Phil into the fresh air of his back garden to meet the new bunny rabbits.
Quite a contrast from the opening act of Crank 2 which followed on from Kickboxer. There are 18-rated films that can be put on the telly starting at 9pm, and some that do not commence until after 11pm, and I can see why the schedulers put Crank 2 into the latter category. Quite a contrast from the family-friendly Chuck Norris season enjoyed during lockdown.
