They're asian silver carp, and they're an invasive species.
These, at any sign of a threat, leap out of the water. They don't do this in china.

Yeah, was alright. CJ sent me a load he'd fished himself. One apparently jumped right at him. I ate it with some chips, and a nice chianti FFFF! FFFF! FFFF! FFFF!

It's been a long time since the meme(s) 'Delicious fish from Asia grow wild in the US' appeared. I'm from Shanghai,and people here always show enthusiasm (of fishing) in these kind of events. Well, it's such a pity that I haven't seen any of these fish( sometimes crabs) on the shelves in the markets here.(or maybe they already are,but not mentioned.)
