I'll wait until it's a tenner (which the others have been sitting at on Star for a while).

Bumblebee looks fine by himself, but terrible with others.
This line is just not working out well at all. Such a strong focus on scale in MP, Generations, Star Wars, and Marvel Legends, itcs seriously confusing that they wouldn't carry that over here.

These figures come with optional parts: different hands and the like. Just imagine they had an optional 'on fire' TF:TM Prowl head.

That Primal looks amazing, a first for this line. It's the first figure that approaches the actual potential of this line. But it would have hit differently a year and a half ago. As it is, it brings nothing to the table that Kingdom Primal doesn't already do.

Exactly. It looks great and super-poseable... but then so does the Kingdom version. And that converts, too. There seems very little point to these, really.

Agree re: Primal.
Though in the year of the 35th anniversary of TF:TM, I will be unable to resist Reformatting Megatron.

Yeah, despite my other reservations about this line I can't complain about that paint scheme. Is this the rumoured reformatting Megatron, or is there still likely one that'll show up in the Generations line?

I think that was a Galvatron wasn't it? Or was there a Megatron too?

What's the difference between RED and Super 7...?

|
|
Post by Jaymz on Jul 30, 2021 20:13:01 GMT
RED are like Marvel Legends, cheap but decent for the money. Super 7 Ultimates are higher end, better articulation, paint apps, etc, etc.

Super7 Re:Action Figures- 4" Joe sized, 5 points of articulation, minimal paint, minimal sculpt, way overpriced 100% Sunbow only
Hasbro RED- 6" basic Hasbro action figures, following Marvel Legends standards (not up to snuff, imo). Follows entire TFU, with Sunbown BW, and Prime entries so far. Fair amount of accessories
Super7 Ultimates- 7" (following NECA and MacFarlane, but way more expensive). Lots of articulation, better sculpting than Re:Action, lots of accessories.
