You know, instead of the blue one, I'd rather have one in khaki, with "SHERIFF" on the sides, and dirty accents (instead of Siege battle damage)

I'm sorry, a delorean would never fit into the back of a station wagon styled ambulance. The irritation comes from the fact that Ectotron is MP scaled, and I don't care what the 3Ps think, the majority of collectors prefer normal scale. I think if there was a set of 3.3/4" Ghostbusters to go with them, a lot more fans would be satisfied. Not that there's a deluxe mold that could work for Ectotron without completely redesigning the character. Deloreans are significantly shorter than the Cadillac Ambulance / Hearse that Ecto-I is based on. They're a reasonably wide car, but really not very long (barely longer than a VW Beetle) and not incredibly tall either (doors closed, obviously!). If people want the Transformers X line to be internally scaled, it isn't bad IMO. But if people want the toys to fit in well with the main Transformers lines, then yeah, it's not good. But then the internal scale in those lines is appalling anyway, if you care about such things...

I have a beetle, and they're not as small as people think. They're larger then nissan fairladies (i had a girlfriend who's father was an aficionado and had one, and was the first person in texas, and one of the first in the US to get the new one when they brought them back). I also had a Cadillac regal that was an absolute land yacht. It wasn't as big as the Ecto, but it wasn't that much smaller, either.
The model car the Ecto is, 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex, nearest I can find, is 225", or 18 feet long. The deLoran is 168", or 14 feet long, and 6.5 feet wide.
I can't find how wide the caddies are, but given they work within the same constrictions that all road legal cars do, I can't imagine it being wider than 7 feet.
A delorean is probably around four feet tall, while the caddie is probably five feet tall.
Ectotron is not in scale with Gigawatt. Ectotron is Masterpiece scaled, and Gigawatt is Classics scaled. There's nothing wrong with this, but some people would rather have an MP scaled Gigawatt or a Classics scaled Ectotron. If the size difference doesn't bother you, that's fine too. I don't quibble over exact scales, I just want a close enough approximation (which is why a Lamborghini and a Porsche being in the same size class doesn't bother me as much as two Porsches being in different classes), and these guys aren't close.

No Mark! Very disappointed. And the guy they did get was more stilted than usual. Oh well. And I do like the new gimmick they have of the two minute countdown to the stream starting taking you to... another two minute countdown to the stream starting. At least no-one's in danger of missing anything by being late...
