Morning All!
Sunday: Bar a far to early wake up and some slightly worrying sweating from the sinuses, Sunday went well, got out in Garden again. But sinuses played up and needed lots of attention.
Slept MUCH better last night, thank you Lord. Woke up, yes, but rolled over and got back to sleep. I've woken this morning to find the Sinusitus is much more confined than it has been - one spot to the left of face just bellow the eye. It may not stay that way but at the moment it's more comfortable than it has been for a few weeks
Monday: J has lots of Zoom on!
Pray sinuses continue to improve, I physically do OK, sleep well again and we stay protected from the virus.

Found a job to go for so spent today so far doing the application. Only the second I have found since started looking 5 days a week in May. Vacancies are *really* down across the board compared to this time last year.

Morning All,
It's Tuesday!
Monday went OK, aided by a decent night's sleep and clear Sinuses to start with that didn't deteriorate that much during the day. Major job ticked off the to do list - but doing it wiped me out even though the physical effort on my part was minimal.
Not quite such a good night for me an the sinuses are a little heavier this morning. Parcelfarce should be making an appearance today with a large box for me. Long term followers will know that recent encounters with the farce "could have gone better" ;-)
Tuesday is Liz's day off. Ish. Unfortunately last week the car picked up a flat tire on one of it's rare outings. We got it changed to the space saver spare at the weekend but it needs a new tire.... which means a trip to the garage and potentially a larger risk than any we've taken for 3 1/2 months.
Please pray it goes OK and Liz, and thus the rest of us, stays protected. Pray I cope physically & mentally, the sinuses don't trouble me and we stay protected from the virus.

The risk is still extremely minimal. The garage should have good preventative measures in place. And if it doesn't Liz should take her business elsewhere.

Yep, if that's the biggest risk you've taken since returning to Swindon your risk of contact with the virus must be about as low as it gets for anyone in the UK.

Indeed, and wearing a mask and gloves while at the garage and keeping a distance reduces the risk even further.

Email knock back from yesterday's job application already. I remain trapped.
Time to give up trying for a career change. I never get interviews. May as well stick with what I know.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Tuesday.... Yeah that was a fun morning. Not. Was worried about Liz at garage and we had to deal with a parcel while she was gone. Confidence in the hands being clean collapsed after that and only partially returned post (very) long sleep in the afternoon. Things went ok then till I got into bed c11pm and my legs started hurting - which was probably the weather - and my sinuses started playing up. So at Midnight I was back downstairs steaming myself and having a bite to eat. Went back upstairs, brewed up, got back into bed, off like a light by 1 just 2 sips of tea drunk.
So today..... A wet day, CMT struggling already. Church homegroup via zoom tonight.
Pray that I cope with the weather, my sinuses improve, that we all stay protected from the virus, and that ASDA actually packs the soap my hands like in the order tomorrow!
Have a good day - stay safe!

In the twilight of being furloughed since April 7th in a job that ends in December anyway and with no current hope of alternative employment I am increasingly finding it difficult to know what day or date it is. Not having much to do isn't helping my awareness of pain either, especially now I have new permanent problems. Fuck sakes.

Morning All!
Thursday.
Wednesday.... Busy. J had a skype call then an online presentation from the House of Commons this morning then went out to have McDs takeaway for lunch. Head and hands proved a challenge all day, Sinuses been very heavy.... Lots of stuff to challenge and stretch my head during the day including the possibility of The Return Of The Builders. Wet weather pushed the CMT too which in turn also weakened my mental resistance.
On this particular Thursday however.... Today is Liz's Mum & Dad' wedding anniversary so she (and Jonathan) are going down there for something. Aiming for quiet day for me.
Keep praying for the sinuses and as well as us staying protected from the virus. Pray my head copes mentally and can deal with some quite big stretches in what we do over the next few weeks.
Have a good day and stay safe & well!

Pain seems to be spreading in my good hand and now I know what it is I know nothing can be done. Very worried. Doing a simple everyday task this morning had me yelping in pain. Constant pain is not good for my head.

Morning All!
It's Friday!
Thursday .... could have been better. Head got pushed by things going on, sinuses and sides of neck hurt, and the CMT got a nasty hit from the weather. The soap not turning up was a blow. Builder's return booked for third week in September which is a big stretch for me but we've got a long run up at it.
Liz & Jonathan's trip to her Mum & Dad's anniversary do went well. Them going into another house was a big stretch for my head and was on top of having done going to the garage earlier in the week, having the subject builders come up and dealing with some odd other bits and
Friday: 16th Wedding Anniversary - Happy Anniversary Liz! Quiet day planned.
Pray my head copes OK today, my sinuses improve, we get a nice quiet stress free day and we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day and stay safe out there.

Yesterday was a very bad day. Pain was so intense I couldn't do much more than stare into space for much of the day and glance at the phone every now and then. Put the bin out and that was it.

Well.
WELL.
Watching old QI's I missed because of a recorder malfunction. Season 16 ep 5. I learn that the scourge that is trick or treating is not an American invention after all. No. No. It originated in...
SCOTLANDLAND!
I hold the Scottish Hub contingent responsible. Particularly Burns, obviously.

Morning All - This is Saturday Wear A Smile
(Aside: I saw Watch And Smile used somewhere in the week, which is what I used to believe it was till someone corrected me. Now I'm not so sure)
Yesterday: EXCEPTIONALLY good head wise. First of all I dropped my towel on the floor, something that would have really thrown my head a while back. Picked it up and hung it up. That kind of set the tone for the day. When Liz said "I really fancy sausage and chips for lunch" I said "fine, go to the chippy and get them" which is the first time we've brought take away in. Then before she went I said "I'll have one too". So horse's willy and chips all round for lunch and very nice it was too. While she and J were out for a walk and getting lunch I brought a parcel in and I opened a box myself, something I've been avoiding doing even when they've had their three days in Nid. So wedding anniversary day went well.
Today: food incoming, Iceland. I felt OK about that cos I think we know what we're doing now. I might be willing to even revisit what we do to incoming food shortly.... we'll see. TMUK Zoom call tonight - how many of us will have the new Scorponok?
So pray the head does as well as yesterday, if not better. Pray the sinuses and aches & pains improve - the latter were a bit better yesterday thanks to the weather. And pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day out there - stay safe & well.

Which reminds me that, er, I have two versions of the board game called PANDEMIC. I hadn't had a chance to play them and, er, don't feel like doing so now. Though I think I would know how to win now!
