"BEHOLD! Look, my child, a Holy Warrior to join The Prophet Galvajim against The Dark Forces! The First Warrior of The Truth: Urzu, The Moral!" "Yeay, I'm so happy Daddy! There WILL be Transformers toys for all!" "Indeed, my child. You see, the needs of the many outway the needs of the few." "Or the one, Daddy." *smiles* "You are wise beyond your years, my child. I am very proud of you." "I love you, Daddy. And I love Prophet Galvajim and First Warrior of The Truth, Urzu the Moral!" "As do we all, my child."

Right. Do not tell Phil this, but I've just discovered my local Smyths has ELEVEN Airwaves in stock. I must go and buy one. Nothing else from that wave mind you. I don't have any of them yet.

The front connectors on Gresepit are too far apart to make a forecourt using Airwave. Annoyingly they're too close together to put two Airwave Runways opposite each other as the feet push them apart You COULD swap the leg halves round: But then you're left with a problem of how to attach further bases. Annoyingly Greasepit and Airwave's roads are not quite at the same level. Even more annoyingly you can't attach Greasepit and Airwave directly side by side as the kibble under the roads prevents a direct connection Ramps and Rampmasters will be required

That should look amazing but it just looks like a mess of nothing. I'm really disappointed with the way this base system has come together. When I put all the 89 stuff together I was thrilled, it looked so good. This is a really poor imitation.

Yeah, there’s nothing of any substance there. It’s all just random shapes lined up and some boxes.
Ah well.

Liz and Jonathan are out - practice for J's next recorder exam - so I've requisitioned the bathroom - only room in the house with decent light - for some more base mode fun! Here is the long awaited Decepticon base with Greasepit corners and Airwave sides: Now you may remember I got a little irate that I couldn't connect Airwave airports and Greasepit/Ironworks side by side: Even more annoyingly you can't attach Greasepit and Airwave directly side by side as the kibble under the roads prevents a direct connection Ramps and Rampmasters will be required So the best I thought I could for Airwaves on the corners, Greasepits as the sides was this: Then it hit me. The end bits of the Airwave roads are removable on AIRLock clips. The inner end of the ramp has more clearance than the other. Simply pop the end bits off and turn them round! Result: a perfect square! VERY happy with that, that open some possibilities up. Here's a Greasepit with an Airwave on both sides: Here's the three bases I have so far in a straight line: At some point we will need to do ALL my multiples of these in a straight line across the lounge or bathroom/landing/Jonathan's room And finally...... Prime's trailer Doublecrossed. I look forward to taking a photo of THREE Prime trailers round a Doublecrosser. Of course if they do a fourth I will now be FORCED to buy it! Someone has pointed out that an Autbobot version of Doublecrosser should be green.....

What do TWENTY FIVE Earthrise Micromaster Bases connected together look like? All the way from the back wall of the house to the TF Cupboard above the stairs, probably slightly longer than the distance across the living room where furniture prevents me from taking photos like this
