But...but he already looks like, well, Springer.
I genuinely cannot see the point (which seems to be how I feel about most of the line at this point). A retool of a recent toy that already had a repaint?
NONSENSE.

Well, the animation model is a lot... rounder than the Siege toy?

Do we know if Bee is a new mould? Because I would still spend money on a good Bumblebee. Espcially one that looked like the animation model in both modes.

Isn't this Bee the core one? Therefore has to be new

I think where I am going in terms of interests and where the current lines are going is diverging. Retooling/upsizing Siege Springer is just sympomatic of that.
All I am after this year are the Rock Formers and the 40th Anniversary Marvel Comic sets. Generations (and its offshoots) are eating itself too much at this point.

SOMEONE has just sent me a test with LOTS of bad words in relating to an aspect of this toy.....

Boy My expectations were already rock bottom for "Leader" Springer, yet I'm still somehow let down.
Springer pulled out a jackhammer to carve out a hole in the rock, in order to let me down further.

Bumblebee, not sure how I feel.
I don't hate it, but not fond of the vehicle, nor is it wowing me enough to "upgrade" from the last mold.
I will however take a Bumper, Glyph, and Tapout retool, please!

WHERE'S WINDCHARGER?!?!
He's seen DEAD in the 'Movie' isn't he?
I'd have thought the current sick twisted Transformer designers would be all over the chance to do another CORPSE!
(Then they'd inevitably do a 'Living' repaint.)

I love that Bumblebee. I'll be having that. Springer on clearance.
Shockprowl, Windcharger will get his alive toy first, and then a dead double pack with Whelljack.

I've just spent five minutes looking at Phil's comparison pictures trying to work that out myself. A few bits remoulded here and there, but not the 'extensive' remoulding the rumours suggested. Certainly doesn't look a lot like Springer's animation model. And if Leader is now a six year old Voyager with a couple of extra weapons, we really are screwed.

I honestly can't tell the difference between Siege Springer and this one. -Ralph There's so little in it. For the major change, the rotors, I prefer the Siege version. And the Siege version's colours are nicer.

That Bumblebee has something of the Bumblejumper about his vehicle mode. It's pretty cool, if I got one in a lot I'd keep it, or if it was knocked down to pocket money prices I'd get one.

The car mode is trying to go for the Sunbow model, but because the model sheet itself has the car from a slightly off angle that makes the roof look flatter than it was drawn most of the time in the cartoon, the toy looks a bit odd.

That might be the benefit of the doubt option. Being a bit cynical I wonder if this allows for remoulding in to the other 3 with the least new parts.

I think the biggest change for springer is the way the upper arms and shoulders work.

Not a fan of that Bumblebee at all. Robot mode isn't bad, but that vehicle mode is just... wrong. I can see what they were going for. But like a bad marksman they just keep missing the target...
