Cancelled FP orders for scourge & hot rod and gone with Pulse. They still get quite a bit of my money.

As long as they arrive, I don't mind waiting.

Got my box from Star.
Only opened Kup so far, going to take my time with them. He looks better in person than the photographs. Fiddly transformation and I had to consult the instructions. All fits together nicely though.

Okay, now we've seen Rodimus and Galvatron I feel confident in saying that SS86 wasn't just a WFC overflow line. Those two are so far off model compared to SS.

I dunno. Grimlock and Kup are just about as off-model.

I don't see it with Grimlock. And at least with Kup I recognise the compromises to give him a screen accurate car mode.
It's like how Generations Arcee looked good in both modes, but Earthrise/Kingdom only pays lip service to the Movie car. SS86 is made with a specific aesthetic, and WfC is just 'eh, close enough'. That's how I see it anyway.

Have I just discovered a variant? Of the three SS86 Hot Rods from a single case that I just opened, one had a brighter yellow paint for the chest flames. m.facebook.com/groups/6000717554/permalink/10158047485377555/(Sorry, I don't have anywhere to host an image so have had to link my Facebook post instead.)

SS86 Voyager King Starscream Of course. Interested to see if this'll be a new mold, or another re-use of the Earthrise mold. Which'll be weird if it is, given it's already getting a Kingdom re-release, according to your list. Allegedly this toy has been replaces as Movie 6 Thrust but continues under the original description in certain databases.

Come on Hasbro... if we're going Perceptor you've got to be brave and do Blaster. We won't moan about him having an inevitably incomplete set of cassettes, because we know you always mess that up, but just give us Blaster.

Good to know, for a second I thought the 86 line was actually going to give us the doomed shuttle crew!

Bugger. Only yesterday, I was justifying not getting the SS86 toys because they hadn't done the full crew because of Perceptor being missing.

Well, I guess we'll find out about none of those leaks tomorrow - they'll be busy showing us the things we've already seen pictures for.
The question is, is the Hot Rod "variant" the Shattered Glass version? If it was, wouldn't it be labelled as part of the Shattered Glass series? And if not, then what? There's been a lot of talk of this being pink, but what else could it be? Targetmaster Hot Rod from the Rebirth? Gold Hot Rod to be Primus?

Maybe clear blue like the ehobby set, to represent the moment he grabs the Matrix?

If it's still part of SS it's probably something from within the film.

Who'd have thought that the $20 deluxe gnaw would look awful compared to the several year old $10 legend?
