I think most new figures will get discounted now, especially through Smyths. Ironhide being an RRP of £39 is a major head scratcher given he's a deluxe with a few extra accessories. It's a shame things have gone so mental. He is a very complicated deluxe though, he has a lot of moving parts - literally, and that complexity seems to be the deciding factor in where he falls in terms of price points. I think that is pretty fair really - the more individual pieces that make up an item the more expensive it will be to manufacture and assemble - so above a certain threshold it has to cost more to keep the same level of profit. (I'd analogise it to the difference between the High Grade Nu Gundam - say- and the Real Grade. Same scale (1/44th) but the Real Grade has a complete inner skeleton, and the High Grade doesn't. so there are several times the pieces making up the Real Grade, so it costs several times the price - whilst the Entry Grade is even simpler in construction than the High Grade and therefore is cheaper than both). I can see why it is this way. It still has as budgetary impact, but that is one of the reasons why I buy the ocassional Transformer I really like the look of, and why most of my Gunpla are High Grade instead of Real Grade... Karl

That's a nice looking Rumzy.
I might be tempted, although I kinda like the Masterpiece robot cassettes. They're a good size in relation to the other Generations figures.

Bit useless then isn't he?
OK then, what if the enemy tapes sneaked into Blaster and too him over from within?

Unless I'm mistaken, there isn't a Studio Series '86 number 13. Wondering if that's what Spike's number was?

Here's 13, he's a bit hidden: F4482 86 13 Cliffjumper (Buzzworthy BB Deluxe Exclusive)

It only just dawned on me that we still haven't had a modern Generations Buzzsaw, and we're on the second go at Rumble!
I guess the fact he wasn't in TFTM doesn't help, but it seems like a glaring omission and increasingly unlikely to be corrected? Could it be there's some exclusivity around the Earth mode version of the Lazerbeak mould, as per the Soundwave mould, which prevents it being done?

Buzzsaw had a CW toy. That's only... uh... six years old.

Big Phil or someone explained it to me a while ago that we didn't get a Siege Buzzsaw because Laserbeak and Ravage were from the same manufacturing... thing, and there wasn't an obvious repaint of Ravage.
The Buzzsaw Problem is why I now used the Masterpiece cassettes and Classics Ravage (the one that came with Hound) as my 'Generations' cassettes. They don't fit in Soundwave, obviously, but they look good on display in robot mode.

There's that white Shattered Glass Ravage. Or Nightstalker. Or whatever the blue one that came with BB Soundwave was called.

They've not mixed a SG item with a normal one yet have they? And MM tapes was before the current SG got going
Nightstalker is Steeljaw repaint
Howlback is the blue Ravage, but he has a blue condor counterpart Garboil
Stripes & Glit exist so there are options if they did go that route

Stripes is an autobot, while Glit comes paired with Sundor.

I was thinking just the other day how I was going to be fine passing on SS '86 Arcee since I had most of the Arcees anyway. Then I saw that picture. How wrong I was...
