Yes of course. There's... Shandy. And better weather. And the Constant threat of French invasion in the first years of the 19th century. Oh yes? And who got the Vikings out of York for you then? Wessex!

I know the Hub likes a definition, so according to the way the country is divided for administrative and local government purposes, Swindon is officially in the south west. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_West_England HE KNOWS.HE KNOWS!!! -Ralph

As a native who was born and bred in the south west of England all I can say is the idea of Bristol let alone Swindon being in the south west would get you laughed out of town. Yes, but surely only a small seaside town. If everyone in an extreme corner of England had a monopoly on their sector of the compass, the entire interior 90% of the country would be left calling itself the Midlands. I lived a large chunk of my life in Bristol and we considered Swindon part of the SW, since we knew we were, and we knew it was close to us. Martin

'As a Plymouth fan, I hope we have been fixing matches, 'cos the other explanation is that we're shit! The best chant I ever heard at a football ground was from Plymouth fans. I went to see Leyton Orient and Plymouth. At one point they went, "Are you watching, Exeter?" And it was 0-0! Our rivalry with Exeter is very vicious. I remember when we played Exeter one of the players got sent off, and Plymouth fans shouted, "You dirty northern bastards."'

Ha!
I've had that. I live on the south coast within walking distance of the sea, but whenever my local team went to play Truro in the league that was exactly what they sang at us.

Post by Grand Moff Muffin on Aug 8, 2020 10:20:14 GMT
There are no Battlemasters in that photo. The photo was taken in 2012. It's a mix of normal (1987) Targetmaster weapons and Double Targetmaster weapons from 1988. Original Scoop had lots of holes for Targetmaster weapons. Five, in fact. Here is the explanation: tilallaremine.wordpress.com/2012/04/06/scoop/The chap who made it says in the article "With his partners in their combined weapon mode, that’s six guns you can put on him at one time." But actually you can put on more than that, if you combine more Double Targetmaster weapons. In fact, wouldn't it be theoretically possible to combine all 12 Double Targetmaster weapons all one on top of another, with Quake's tank gun on the very top? How many barrels would that weapon have?? Martin.

Could you theoretically combine Flintlock, Silencer, Boomer, Ricochet, Holepunch, Tracer, Sunbeam, Zigzag, Tiptop, Heater, Hairsplitter, Singe and Quake's turret gun into one giant tower of weapons?
The Transformer wielding that (I think) 21-barrelled weapon would be... unstoppable!
