Morning All! Hope you're all ok?
Monday. Tell me why ....
Yesterday: Morning good. Fab prayer meeting before church. Head wore a little as day went on and sinuses played up. The pain is now nearly even under my eyes though much greater down the side of the left cheek which has been worse all along. Cannot work out why it's deteriorated over the last week.
Woke up with tummy and face pain just before 5 so today not off to the best of starts and it gets busy as it goes on. So manic (It did say busy here then I remembered which day of the week it was!) that we've had to move Liz's scheduled day off. So in order: L early trip to shops, J Zoom recorder lesson, J Zoom music theory lesson, my wheelchair assessment done remotely, L has visitor, L goes to parents, J has Zoom youth event.
Pray head copes with a busy day and Sinuses & CMT improve. Pray we stay protected from the virus - some of the Swindon news the last few days has made my head wobble a bit.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

So far this morning..... My phone's sound is dead (got a spare body so should be OK, but still the trouble of taming a new handset) and I've discovered I've thrown a half finished strip of Baclofen in the waste bin!

There is only ONE Shockprowl. The other, the imposter, is NOT Shockprowl. You can tell he was the imposter because he was a he! Whereas I, the true Shockprowl, am infact a WOMAN! as I have long maintained.

For those who don't dive into every subforum, the TMUK store is live for fanzines and badges. No excuses!!!! gumroad.com/tmukAlso there is a COMPETITION to win your own customised action master, I expect entries from everyone. All you have to do is download the form and purchase something to be eligible to enter gumroad.com/l/rgEUq

Is the competition to colour in the picture on the form, or to design something from scratch?

Wasted morning trying to re-organise all my payments but to be told my address and details don't match. I told my bank to change my address 4 days ago (should take 24 hours to update). Couldn't get through on phone. Frustrating time with online chat after eventually figuring out how to get rid of the computer chat bot trying to get them to sort it out but there appeared to be a language barrier. Will have to physically go to a branch to sort it now later in the week! Furious. I'll be making a complaint.

Can't get the RM site to send me a password change and can't log on to BT. Too stressed with all this. Game over for today.
Worried I need to tell work I may not be fit to go back next week.
Too much stress.

First day of new job, lot of meetings so far but feel like it's a good fit. Viewing on our house tomorrow night, feels weird to be having strangers coming in to judge your home.

God I did months of that last year. Initially we decided to be out any time anyone came round, but by the end it was 'hello, who are you then? what do you want to know?'

Yes it's a very weird and exhausting experience, selling and buying a house. There's nothing you can do to make it easier on the soul, you just gotta suck it up and keep focused on The End Goal.

Circumstances beyond my control meant eventually we gave up and decided on building a new extension to remodel the downstairs. Then the virus hit and we're a year later on from the aborted move and nothing's happened.
Life ticks away.
This morning I have mostly been looking at remortgaging the house, as that's due in three months, but I still keep looking at Rightmove to see if there's anything better on offer. Coincidence slamming into each other again. Can you remortgage a house while trying to sell it? Thought not. Best just stay here then.

You'd have to pay fees for the remortgage, and then again for selling? Bloody tricky business. Our extension has been a nightmare on occasion, but The End Goal has been achieved and it was worth it.

I need to stay true to what I was feeling last September. We found the right house to move to, thought we were on, got tripped up by a ridiculous unforeseen problem with our buyers and then lost everything. At that point though, when I was starting to pack, I still had this niggling feeling that the place we were moving to wasn't exactly right, and we would be better off using the additional money we'd put by to move to remodel our downstairs instead. I can see how everything will work if we stay here. I haven't seen anywhere for sale that will allow that flexibility. I'd made that decision last autumn, it's just the fact that time has ticked on that I've started questioning myself again.

I will be in the strange and unexpected position of living in a bought home (my partner's) at some point this month. I've been trapped in private lets all my adult life. I can't quite wrap my head around that yet nor being lucky enough to have access to a garden again for the first time since I was a child.
Packing up the flat is going very slowly as I physically can't move much due to current chest and feet problems. Very frustrating. Big worry about how I'll physically manage the move. There is a ticking clock that can't be changed. Jen is at the other end sorting out her house, which is a lot of work. Need to be out by the 28th!

Morning All! It's Tuesday, Thank You Lord, cos Monday Wanged Chung big time thanks to my head and sinuses. Really Not A Good Day for either, possibly worst day for both for a couple of months :-( Far too much going on, lots of things happening I wasn't comfortable with or sure of and far t oo many technology problems to solve. Today: quieter. Liz's day off if I can cope. New Epic Collections announcement at 4, looking forward to that. Was I right philsotherthings.blogspot.com/2020/06/2021-epic-collection-speculation.html ? Pray Sinuses & Head improve a lot today and the CMT stays OK - don't think I'v had to deal with all three at once yet. Pray we stay protected from the virus. Have a good day, stay safe & well.

When will the two Shockprowl's fight? When will one be revealed to secretly have a copy of another Hub member's brain waves trying to take control??

M, can you recall slinging Shockprowl into your cloning tanks?

No. Only Blueshift has been cloned so far to keep up the rate of fanzine production.

Oh don't tell such lies. Burns has been seeing TMUK member clones for donkey's years and so have I and others. So it's OBVIOUS that A) The Mad Scientician is cloning away merrily in his basement and has been for some time and B) You have a security problem and they're getting out on a regular basis

That's twice now the bank has fucked up my change of address. Still can't pay standing orders or direct debits after five days of trying. Going to a branch on Friday to see if someone can sort it. Absolutely furious.

Oh don't tell such lies. Burns has been seeing TMUK member clones for donkey's years and so have I and others. Your logic is faulty, in that some of those clones have been older versions of chums and so clearly from the future, which means all of them might be, and so the cloning has yet to occur! Back in the real world, two mile hike to office, worked 9 and a half hours, two mile hike home, LEAVING LAPTOP LOCKED IN OFFICE. First time in almost 5 months that I'm not sleeping under same roof as work laptop. Yes! Martin

Phone call due tomorrow afternoon regarding my Return To Work next Monday. Wish me luck. On the one hand, I really need to be active again but on the other hand [Redacted - some of you know]. Also: working and travelling in the GM area is now High Risk. Genuine big question mark as to whether I will fit enough yet by Monday. Might see if I can use some leave as a buffer. The contract ends December 31st one way or another anyway!
In other news, trying my best to pack up stuff in the flat which is not easy with a pulled chest muscle and extensor tendinitis in both feet but it gives me something to do.

There are no boxes big enough for TR Fort Max or Siege Omega Supreme so they will have to take turns sitting on my lap when Moving Day: Planet Earth comes.

Cheers.
There just aren't any jobs going right now so trying to get through the remainder of the contract (if I can) is currently the only option I have.
At least all costs related to the current expensive private let will be gone by this time next month at the latest and I can try and build a buffer. I want to avoid going on UC if at all possible. Thankfully, the next OU course has been paid for. Did it while I knew I still had a guaranteed income.
