hey everyone, recently I've been going on an absolutely massive read-through of old Transformers stories, most notably all the Marvel output and the these-days-little-known-and-little-liked 3H and Dreamwave stuff, which was all very much before my time. My aim's largely been to get a better understanding of the evolution of the TF fandom over time, based more on primary sources than on the wiki's presentation of those sources as part of this, I ended up downloading most of the stories on the TMUK wiki, along with various bits and pieces from the forums and elsewhere. (For the record, many of the pages on that wiki other than the front one are still accessible, so there's maybe less stuff lost than some of you think!) I was naturally drawn to the old James Roberts stories, and - although I figure, if stuff hasn't already seen the light of day, it's probably not going to - I thought I may as well ask if anyone's got copies of any of the stuff missing from the wiki, before I dive into Eugenesis however, my interest isn't limited just to that, or even just to Old Fandom! I know most of this stuff is exceptionally old, so have no plans to share any of it around, and if there's stuff on the wiki you'd rather I didn't read please let me know. Nonetheless, I figure there are stories out there which are currently offline not as a particularly deliberate thing, but simply because the assumption is that nobody'd be interested in reading - so if you do have stories kicking around you'd like me to have a gander at, shoot them my way! I haven't read anything yet, so'd appreciate any and all input on what's worth looking at - what stories are you particularly proud of, or particularly enjoy?

My old TMUK stories are all lost as they were on floppy discs! -Ralph please understand that I mean it in the best possible way when I say that this is equal parts immensely sad and really quite a bit funny (I do have some newer bits and pieces of yours from older threads on this subforum, and seeing as how I enjoyed the TFN Ladybird book I reckon those'll definitely be something I check out!)

I prefer my childhood TMUK work to remain in the memory of friends shared with at the time but not dug out and disseminated further. My later Marvel-based fanfiction universe may be found in the threads numbered 1 to 21 in this forum: tmukhub.proboards.com/board/5/transformers-fictionMartin

Hello an welcome to the forum The Underbase is, in between feeding ducks and stabbing cats, the work of John Cullen of this parish (not the artist) You got that, I presume from what you said you've got the Eugenesis PDF ? Sadly I think the old TMUK yahoo group is no longer accessible :-( You could try contacting the likes of Graham Thompson on the twitter, not sure if he keeps back stock of his zine output? And blueshift will be able to flog you some of his recent works for charity

I'll be sure to check out those threads at some point Hello an welcome to the forum [snip] You got that, I presume from what you said you've got the Eugenesis PDF ? Sadly I think the old TMUK yahoo group is no longer accessible :-( You could try contacting the likes of Graham Thompson on the twitter, not sure if he keeps back stock of his zine output? And blueshift will be able to flog you some of his recent works for charity hiya! I'm not much of a forum user, but between TFN and the Round Robin strip currently happening on twitter I figured it was high time I dropped by yeah, in terms of Eugenesis stuff, what I have is the following: - "Liars, A to D", "Robot War 2012", and Eugenesis itself
- "Telefunken", prose which apparently ties into Eugenesis somehow
- "Everyday is like Sunday", which is apparently a Christmas comic from CG2 #34
- "Children of a Lesser Matrix" (prose, no idea what this is)
- "The Polyhex Wars" (four-part prose, some of those parts themselves split, likewise no idea)
and aye, as I'm sure Blueshift can attest I've read basically all the TF stuff he's put out! Although that reminds me I really need to sit down and go through the whole Mosaic project from way back when. Either way, looking forward to finally seeing what the Action Master zine has in store...

Hello an welcome to the forum Sadly I think the old TMUK yahoo group is no longer accessible :-( I downloaded and saved a copy of the group's messages when Yahoo announced they were shutting down. Not had a chance to sort through it.. wherever I put it... And as Martin says there are folk who would prefer their work didn't get disseminated further. Best to check with individual writers. In broad strokes though there were two or three broad 'eras', pre-G2UK, the Continued Generation 2 era (both shared the same universe as each other and the Marvel G1/G2 comics) and then a third era in the early-mid 2000s when the TMUK universe had a soft reboot.

Some of the CG2 stuff will be available, once I get back to relettering and restoring it.
