Morning All!
It's Monday and it's manic. Hopefully the last one....
Yesterday: Decent day. Busy. Church went OK, technology coped. Evening meeting for church which was useful and interesting.
Today: L teaching Parliament course 9-10. Last one, and loosing that will make day easier. But it's gone very well and she'll do more online: we just need to think about when. J recorder 10-11. Lunch in at Midday before L teaching again (Functional Skills English) 1-2. L delivering meal to poorly friend later.
I'll be keeping my head down and rendering tech support where apropriate!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses & head continue to improve and CMT does OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

With no work to go to anymore, I got up early and ground out the last 300 words of an OU essay. Due to overwhelming stress and anxiety built up over the last 18 months elsewhere in life (see the channelling thread) I have struggled to get into it. My first essay in the current module got a poor mark/grade and I expect the same for this one. However, I have come to accept that that is good enough for now when my head is so ******. I can take a break for a few weeks and refocus and do better with the rest of the current course (which also looks much more interesting and up my street) when I can think clearly. I'm not happy with what I have submitted today: I know I can do much better and the arguments are weak but sometimes you have to just take the hit and move on. Writing about morals in war when I feel shit is also just too ******* grim right now for my mood.
I now have...literally nothing to do all week. The impact of my job imploding under me hasn't really sunk in yet but all sorts of physical issues have come back so I know my body hasn't let go yet!

Completed animal bingo locally as not been able to explore much since I moved. Within a half hour walk can be found sheep, at least three different kinds of pheasants, peacocks, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys, chickens and horses. It's a nice place to live. I like sometimes passing horses in the street. There is also DUCK ISLAND.
There are also many, many cats.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday
Yesterday: I said Monday would be manic, and if anything I undersold it!! 2 zoom leaasons from L needing tech support, 1 J zoom recorder lesson, 2 different prayer meetings, PiP paid which triggered some work, another game of hunt the glasses, a BluRay turning up when I expected a CD (The Delicate Sound of Thunder redo), a TF turning up, 3 Comixology sales and it was Doctor Who Day - An Unarthly Child watched at tea, Robots of Death in the evening and at long last news of a Web of Fear Special Edition. Pysically and mentally didn't do too bad with the busyness which pleased me, but face felt a little tight or like their was bubbles in it at times.
Today: J out at ARK Cooking group this morning. Not sure what else. Legs are rather wobbly this morning
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses & head continue to improve and CMT does OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Christmas is cancelled. We had planned to essentially isolate for a week beforehand and pop up to see my folks when the travel window is allowed via car rather than public transport but they have said no for their own reasons I shall keep private. Not seen them since February. I've been desperate to see them. My mood has crashed through the floor. Nothing to look forward to now.

Morning All!
It's Thursday.
Yesterday: Generally OK. GENERALLY. Liz enjoyed trip out. I got through day OK, made phone call I'd been meaning to for months, hub arrived OK and - because the the younger tech fan in the house was VERY keen for this to happen as soon as possible - installed at 10 o'clock at night. Also got another bit of Liz's Christas Present and my long awaited Delicate Sound of Thunder remix. Had a quick listen on the computer's monitor speaker - the hifi is still in bits - and I'm not 100% sure. Can't hear Dave's foot pedal click during the start of Shine On anymore for a start!
Food ordered. Excel job skipped as a crucial number I needed from this month's payslip wasn't what I expected and my concentration wasn't up to it.
MASSIVE fall in the kitchen early evening, caught myself both sides on the way down, nasty marks on my left forearm. Really knocked me for six. Wasn't comfortable during homegroup so excused myself for an early bath..... and promptly fell down again. Got up to the bath room and fell for a third time. So yeah. Not good.
On this particular Thursday: Food collection and bringing in. Toy and Book expected. Need to attach the remaining devices to the new wireless and figure out how the printer connects to it! Drugs review at 2.
Pray Day goes OK: CMT struggled with the weather yesterday, so pray that's better today. Pray my head copes with the shopping coming in: generally it's doing A LOT better with this but it does wear the head down especially if I'm not OK physically. Pray Sinuses continue to improve. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Just had difficult conversation with sister who wanted to bring family including children down for a socially distanced visit with Dad just before Christmas - not having isolated for a week prior. Dad not keen, and I tend to agree. Would rather wait a few months for the vaccine and then get together properly - and have Facetimes with them on Christmas and Boxing Day.
All being well, Dad will be with me from 24th to 27th. It won't be as good as last year when we were all together in Liverpool, but it can't be until the virus has been thwarted.

Woken up with toothache. Hopefully it's 'just' the teeth grinding and not the dodgy tooth going.

Three days of extreme toothache here. It remains untouched by painkillers and now also over half the course of antibiotics. No sleep at all last night. Only cold water directly on the tooth in question kills the pain for a couple of minutes at a time. Waiting on a call back from the dentist.
