I saw a FB post about a new Marvel Legend, went to see if there was anything else new on the site and there it was, bottom of the front page.
I got very excited as I reckon that's a very decent price.

Both built on the call last night. I now have a complete set of the original Special Team/Scramble City moulds - albeit with a reissue Pirranicon - plus God Neptune & Baldigus. I also have a set of the Energon moulds: Universe 2 Superion, Superlink Bruticus and both Energon & Universe 2 Devastators. I have all five Japanese MM Sixteam cobiners plus their Universe Devastator and Superion combiners. Throw in Encore Devastator, reissue Landcross and one or two CW/POTP combiners and..... .... I may have developed a problem with combining Transformers! |

To get the last Micromaster Combiner Transport I need - carried over from 2017 & 2018, 2019 (when I got one) and 2020 TICK!!! Need a couple of parts for it but have the base and both MM for the Tanker Transport now. Just need Retro & Surge now To finish my Minibots (probably involving TFC 12) - carried over from 2017 & 2018, 2019 & 2020 UHUH To get one of the orginal Dinobots that I'm missing - carried over from 2020 TICK!!! I now own a Slag. Again. And narrowly missed a KO Blue Swoop, Tony got the words "MINE!" out of his mouth quicker To get an original Headmaster, preferably one of Apeface/Snapdragon - carried over from 2020 UHUH To get the last Axelerator I need - Skram TICK!!! To arm my remaining Skyscorchers - Snipe & Terradive TICK!!! To get Aquaspeeder Aquafend TICK!!! To get Stormtroopers Rage and Aquablast TICK!!! It was mostly a good year for the Euro acquisitions.... UHUH .... With one exception..... To find rotors for Rotorstorm UHUH .... OK One and a bit. To get G1 and Energon Bruticus TICK!!! Hopes: · If there's a toy colored Galvatron coming, they announce it before the Kingdom one is released. · Kingdom is just the start of the return of Beast Wars, with at the very least the main season one cast being completed. · We hear about the next series after Cyberverse. Well, I was actually pretty close. We still know next to nothing about the next series. The Toy Galvatron happened, and in enough time to allow me to cancel the purple version preorder. The entire Season One cast is happening, though it didn't all make it in this year. Kingdom doesn't seem to be an aberration, with Prime and Armada being thrown in the mix. Though no word on BW past the last two Season One holes. I succeeded and failed. · They stopped the not-really-alien alt modes, so nothing to tempt there. · I ended up getting (almost) every version of the upsized Starscream, though I peaced out on the SECOND more expensive Starscream version. · I didn't buy Kingdom Ultra Magnus, so I didn't succumb to the "heavy retool that ends up looking exactly the same" temptation. · I didn't buy any of the G1 cores, so I mostly didn't succumb to buying pointless new molds that don't bring anything new to the plate (the exceptions being Kingdom Cyclonus, Rattrap, Waspinator, and Rhinox, and most of the SS86) |

Right then… Hopes:- That the next Generations line remembers that it's GenerationS, plural. Like Kingdom is kind of doing, but in less of a weird, awkward way.
Well Legacy certainly seems to be doing this a little, so we’ll go with a win for this one. Alas no; this one remains a dream. Nope. Disappointing. Also no. Also disappointing. I guess we got the conclusion of Cyberverse, but even so… Not sure about this one. I don’t recall quite as much gnashing of teeth and tending of clothes this year, so maybe Hasbro are doing a better job? Or maybe I just wasn’t that bothered this year… Not quite on the Legacy front, but no idea on the new series since Hasbro can’t be bothered with it yet, so will have to hold judgement on this one. That’s a definite “yes” for this one. I’m. I’ve not been counting or comparing years, so… I’m going to say yes, I passed this one. Seems fair to me. |

The addition of a [ UL] at the start of each quoted section fixed it |

Hopes1. TFN goes ahead because Covid goes away in time. 2. Thrust becomes available 3. Artfire is done as a Netflix pack ala Megatron and comes with the targetmaster partners for him and Selects Ricochet. 4. Hasbro listen to feedback on the unavailability of exclusives and... No, what's the point... Well... the exclusives haven't been a pain to get this year at least... I lost interest in Artfire and went the expensive route for Thrust, which seems to have been a wise choice as he now seems to be going for upwards of £100. I'm quite a negative person really, aren't I. So... 1. looks right as there aren't any on the slate for next year. 2. is a roll over but I'm less sure about that now. Will they stop at the first three, or will Swoop & Snarl come later? 3. Wrong, thankfully. 4/5. I think Pulse has allowed Hasbro to dodge that bullet. Without them, things would have been harder. Where would we have got the Shattered Glass from? 6. Wrong! They looked so good, but they're soooo not. 7. Wrong. I think this changed so Hasbro can try and ride out the global shipping problem but I can see that going on all through next year. Two deluxes held back and a voyager brought forward to make a fifth wave bridging the gap between November and next July? They're clearly worried about supply at the moment. 8. Wrong, thank god. All told, after all the panic, they did eventually do exactly what they said and would have sent me all the books had I just waited. Collection complete! Now I just need to read them. 1. Kept! Well done, Pinners. Was tough to start with, but as more and more went unbought it got easier. I've bought so little Generations-wise this year compared to the last two years. 2. I haven't really had to think about this because there hasn't been that much to buy, but I'm definitely set now on my Masterpiece collection not needing to be more than Sunbow Season one plus the Special Teams. Originally I was going for 84-87 as MP, but I really don't need that. The original cartoon characters would be cool, which I've nearly got now, and I love a big combiner. 3. I've not bought as much G1 as I'd intended, but have bought a lot of RID to experience moulds from the 90s that I haven't had before, which in turn made me realise how amazing the play features are in the G2 era. 17 larger RID figures plus the ten Spychangers has been immense fun. Far more than Generations. Much more of that for me next year. |
