That would be annoying. Like the battles across time packs. Couple of beasts, couple of geewun. Ugh. I'd want Fangry but none of the others.

I would be VERY PLEASED if Universe Primal was true.
Especially as Phil would have to own several copies.

You would... win.
My battle right now is to stay awake long enough to watch my Friday night DS9 episode but... two weeks to go to the end of term. I am knackered.

What’s with the D20?

Bumblebee not Marvel based, just superfluous and not in a good way. "Nemesis Primal," not Universe Primal. Meh. Fangry, weird sculpting choice on his head, but still it took them long enough. Blackarachnia is not toy based, she's BETTER!

Isn’t it about time they stuck a different head on the VW version of that mould for Hubcap? Or someone else? Or has that happened already?

Isn’t it about time they stuck a different head on the VW version of that mould for Hubcap? Or someone else? Or has that happened already? Nope. The VW has only ever been used on Netflix Bee. Which is why I feel that this is the bad sort of redundant. If it was the VW, it'd still be redundant, but it'd give people a second shot at a massively desired, very difficult to get toy.

Hubcap was done using the Cliffjumper version and a new head.
Thus far the VW version has only been seen in the Netflix line. This is the fifth use of the Cliffjumper version

Ravage pretty much confirms the TM Cheetor retool theory.
I want that Blackarachnia more than ANYTHING. I want it way more than I thought I would

Is Netflix BB considered difficult to get? I’ve been cursing my impatience as I paid well over retail for a preorder import for him last year, and now there are loads of him on the shelves at a reduced price in Smyths over here.

Watch as I sell that version of the mould to half the forum: G1 Yellow Cliffjumper I think I thought of doing that with a second Hubcap and Cliffjumper. With a headswap and a bit of paint, you'd get Yellow Cliffjumper and G2 Hubcap.

With a dozen walmarts in my search radius, I've only seen him maybe four times, and never more than two at a time (and usually one's package is completely trashed)

I need that Buzzworthy pack. TR is where my completist urge hits hardest and the Primal is mad enough to be worthwhile. No idea about the Blackarachnia, and yeah BB is just there to tie the set to the line.
Whence can I purchase? I may not sleep until I know.

Buzzworthy is a Target line in the US but the dealers seem to be easily able to get them here, looks like it's generally available from Hasbro UK. Hopefully won't be a challenge

Fangry: sad they've not used Twinferno's beast arms, which I thought were a dead on match for Fangry, and split the head to form the robot arms.
He's the must have for me in this set but everything else is nicely mad enough that I want it

Could the lack of VW repaints be a licensing issue?
I guess G1 bee was the only VW. The others are repaints of Cluffjumper.

I assume the VW license is behind the lack of repaints, Hasbro either not wanting to give up profits to VW or just the license was for a one-shot deal.

Goldbug and Glyph were also Beetles, and red Bee could easily be assigned a new chaaracter, ala the diaclone redecoes.

The four pack is just annoying. Like everyone else I want that Fangry, but I'm less fussed about any of the others. Toy/card art colours Blackarachnia is a really nice idea, but also not essential. Nemesis Primal is eh. And yellow Cliffjumper... is he meant to be a G1-ified version of movie 'Bee? Either way, I'll pass on that set - it's not worth it just for that one figure. The only actually unique things I can think of with any novelty was Ghostbusters Optimus and the Knights of Unicron set. The SS movie Bumblebees with the cassette two packs were also SDCC exclusives originally, weren't they? And whilst the tapes went on to get a re-release, I think they were pretty exclusive to those sets. Originally, anyway. I could be wrong. Also that was the only place those BB molds got the gold deco.

Yeah, but the tapes got rereleased, and Bumblebee was released as Bumblebee. So it was a same character deco variant like all the ones I mentioned. According to the wiki, the camero version was first sold at SDCC, but the set was not an SDCC exclusive.

I see the BB as a G1 version of his Evergreen self. It is, probably the best proportioned of the CJ mould. The head scales better, as proven by Hubcap's giant bonce.

Ravage maybe for the novelty if it falls in my lap, but otherwise not fussed.
Like everyone else, Worlds Collide is necessary to add Fangry to the Generations G1 updates collection, but that's going to be over a hundred smackers for a voyager and three deluxes. I can see a lot of people buying that and moving on the other three figures to get Fangry at a reasonable price.

Hmm. Exclusives have been easy pickings so far this year... now the expense begins to show. The JP set, these... there's some thinking that we only didn't see Shattered Glass Jetfire this week because that will cost nigh on as much as the JP set so it's been spaced out with Galvatron inbetween. Who also isn't *that* cheap. SS86 wave 2 is just starting to drop, that's £100 for those three...
Probably time to update all the lists and see what's what with some projected expenditure.
