I don't get it. RFC keep asking this question saying if anyone knows anyone who has actually bought any of these Megabucks statue type things to contact them, but no one ever does. They can't sell more than a handful.

I can't imagine the people across the world who spend an exorbitant amount of money on statues and high end figures to have a lot of overlap with people who listen to english speaking podcasts to have a lot of overlap.
I've heard this recent glut of extremely expensive statues and figures, like the Prime-1 stuff, is really targeted for the chinese market. They're not selling hardly any to the americans, europeans, or australians.

I'm guessing that they're so expensive because they're selling relatively few of them, so no economy of scale?
