My school is open as normal on Monday, which is good in as much as all the planning I've been doing this week can still go ahead as usual and I don't need to about face and start planning online lessons instead. On the bad side, trying to carry on as normal heading toward tests seems farcical. I think this term is going to be far bumpier than the last, and that was weird enough. The government seem to expect us to maintain routine where there just isn't one.

It strikes me that the Government doesn't understand how education works.

Still no idea when I can expect to be asked to go back in. Do you think you will be asked to go back to how things were before, post-vaccine, or do you think your employers will encourage as many people as possible to keep on working from home, now they know you can, to save the costs of running such big offices? Martin They've already said we won't go back into the office full time, but how that looks is up in the air. Also we are a pretty small team there's only 5 of us at present, possibly another 2 joining but who knows...
