Morning All!
It's Friday 1st January - Happy New Year!
Yesterday: a struggle. In pain in face and teeth, and running on just four hours sleep.
Today: Leading Prayer Meeting at 9am having been in one till 12:15am. Not sure what else, more room tidying. Need to spell check tomorrow's blog. Having a stumbly knocking things over forgetting things doing things wrong morning so far ....
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
This is Saturday Wear A Smile!
Yesterday: Decent enough day. Think Prayer Meeting went OK, despite wife trying to make me laugh! Cracked a decent XL problem, set the TMUK catalogue polls into their G2 phase and finished the boxed Kingdom opening.
Face was less painful at times, and generally away from the teeth. The times it hit the teeth was not fun, much more bareable round my cheekbones.
Awake till nearly 3. Not firing OK today.
Today: Need to finish the last 2 episodes of Hand of Fear we didn't manage yesterday and fit in Disco. No Zoom to Mum as her laptop's bust :-( TMUK Zoom tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT and Head cope OK and Sinuses improve & the pain stays off the teeth. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

For the first time ever in 18 years of living here, I've done the 5-mile walk to and around Roath Lake twice in two days. Mainly on account of the weather being gorgeous (albeit freezing) after weeks of mostly wind and rain.
Yesterday I got a coffee and mushroom & mascarpone toastie from Caffe Nero on the wait out and a hot apple & cinnamon drink from Coffee #1 on the way back. Today, to keep things varied, I got a coffee and tuna melt panini from Coffee #1 on the way out and a mint-choc-chip hot chocolate from Caffe Nero on the way back.
On today's walk I made some New Year's resolutions based on the experiences of 2020:
1. Except if specifically required to quarantine, don't let a day go by without (a) getting some fresh air and leg exercise, and (b) speaking to a real person, even if at a distance or through a perspex safety screen.
2. Post-virus, keep giving my custom to businesses who managed to reopen safely when permitted to do so, with all the right measures in place to stop transmission, and don't go back to the businesses who I felt cut corners or implemented sub-standard safety measures during Covid.
3. Post-virus, don't go back to using buses and taxis out of laziness when walking is possible. To avoid infection I haven't set foot in motorised transport in this city for over 9 months now, and it hasn't stopped me going where I would have gone. Even before Covid, I reckon I probably got most of my colds & viruses in enclosed forms of transport.
4. Try to eat and drink more healthily. This is the resolution I am probably most likely to flunk.

Haven't had a lot of time to check in here in recent days - is there a story behind everyone getting 332 robot points added?
Didn't have the most auspicious start to 2021 - a mole on the side of my head was bleeding on New Year's eve, so will have to be heading to the GP as soon as possible this coming week. Not looking forward to having that dealt with right now.

Haven't had a lot of time to check in here in recent days - is there a story behind everyone getting 332 robot points added? A reward for surviving 2020? The number is obvious, but I hadn't noticed it had been done. There are ..... consequences

Today: Church this morning, quiet rest of day. Disco tonight, still not watched this week's.

We had already decided to switch our grocery shopping from in-store to ordering online from January due to the new covid variant before...current events. Just done our first Asdaland online order. It arrives on Friday night! Very exciting.
