Morning All!
It's Monday and it's back to normal. Or as normal as normal gets these days.
Yesterday: Decent day. Church went well - sprang a surprise singing of happy birthday on one friend - although I did muck up the rooms for the prayer sessions at the end. TWICE! There's a note in my tech notes that says "REMOVE THE TIMER" and I forgot. Ooops. Couldn't sleep in afterternoon, so spent it pottering on Laptop.
Today: J recorder 9am. L day off.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Sinuses improve - pain been a bit better since I got prayed for at the end of church yesterday. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Putting off Universal Credit claim until Wednesday when I have a chat with the GP. I'm keen to get back into work ASAP but need some advice.

MASSIVE fall in bedroom. I *somehow* put both feet down with my toes under my foot, lost my balance, twisted my ankle and hit my head on a box on the way down.
Big toe is a mess on my left foot: I took a portion of the nail off a few months back in another fall and have opened it up in that same spot. :-(

Morning All!
It's Tuesday.
Yesterday: A struggle. Lots of back to homeschool transition for Jonathan. Spent the entire day getting distrcated and struggling to concentrate but still got loads done. Letter back to DWP written - a brown envelope arrived Saturday demanding info they already had - along with payslip photocopies. A bunch of SW toys I bought a few years back finally opened saving me some space. And some interesting Epic Collection news: Spectacular and Web Of are coming but no MTU news yet :-( Bad fall late afternoon made a mess of my toe and a small bit of Zoom difficulty caused some worry late in the evening. Lockdown news wasn't uexpected though a little surprising how quick. Back to shielding for me. Decisions need to be made about some of J's groups which are still running.
Awake 4:20 - 5:30 with cramp :-(
Today: Start of 3 days of Prayer at church. Not sure what else.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we make the right decision about J's activities. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Toothache coming on. Time for that dodgy tooth to get pulled, I reckon. Appointment made for next Monday with dentist. Having to go private again but I need it seen to asap. And yes, I was honest about being in contact with a positive Covid case but they said so long as I'm past the isolation stage and have no symptoms that's ok.

Head has been up my arse due to recent events and couldn't concentrate on OU work so went out for my mandated daily walk. Picked up a cheeseburger and hot chocolate takeaway from a cafe and sat in a park to have it. While eating I suddenly thought: "Is this a sensible thing to do? Should I stay away even from takeaway places?" A strange feeling. We live in odd times.

For me, any risks associated with going for takeaway food/drink are massively outweighed by the mental well-being boost of doing so and having that connection with human society. But that may not be true for all. Everyone needs to find their own optimal balance of risks and benefits of whatever activities are currently permissible.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday.
Yesterday: Better day gnerally but J struggled. His ARC group is still running, we've decided he should go and that might help him.
Today: Day 2 of 3 days of Prayer at church. Food ordering needs doing. And at some point I need to do the Maths for Spectacular and Web Of.... Been asked TWICE already for Epic estimates so....
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray J stays safe as he goes out. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Martin Decided not to frequent any takeaways right now with the infection rate being high. At least for January not going inside anywhere else other than the dental surgery. If we want a treat, we'll get a delivery. -Ralph

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: Another decent day. All went OK. Some slight ache round my chest, pains I recognise as something digestiony. Not had them for a month or so but I did have fish in a cheese sauce Tues night, which is suspect thanks to what Fish Pie has done to me. Started work on the Spectacular details.... all well till I get into the 200s. Then the Clone Saga happens.
On this particular Thursday however..... Day 3 of 3 Days of Prayer. I'm leading 8am. Food collection late morning. And SOMEHOW we're a week into 2021 already!
Bit wobbly due the misty weather this morning. Face pain is high, and it's the furthesat it's got into the teeth for a few days. And having a dropping things day so far.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Visited a dermatologist today to get a mole that seemed to be bleeding last week checked, relieved that she said it looks fine but she wants me back to do a full skin check which my health insurance allows every so often. I asked my wife and apparently it really is a full skin check, I will be naked and examined all over! Not sure how I feel about that!
I had to be up at 6:45 am to make my appointment, and aside from it being the furthest I've ventured across Berlin in more than a year and so surreal and apocalyptic (rows of food vending machines now only vending masks and alcohol gel, Berlin's main station being so quiet) it left me super tired and I started to nod off during a remote work meeting this afternoon... I don't think anyone noticed, but the anxiety that they may have done is going to stick with me a bit...

Sorry I've been so quiet recently. Feeling really drained by work.
BUT I have a pressure pot now. Cost me around £250 but just in time for lockdown #3!! Getting some great results, and just started test castings on Windmill and Omega Spreem's accessories!

Morning All!
It's Friday, it's five to five, its.....
Yesterday: My worst day for a while. Physically achey thanks to the weather. Sinus pain high which got into the teeth again. Was stationary for a long time, which got me thinking "I need a dentist" before shifting about a bit. But beyond that it was my worst Mental Health day for months. I used everything I had up in the morning. A little better post sleep but not a huge ammount.
Today: Quieter day. Will need to be having been awake since 4:20. Chip shop lunch. Disco s3 finale
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK & all do better than yesterday. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Our forecast keeps promising snow, but apart from a brief covering at the weekend we just keep getting light sleet or drizzle. All very disappointing!

Socks in bed is illegal in many counties.
I get very hot in bed. Only ever sleep under a four tog duvet, sometimes just a sheet in the summer or nothing at all. But when it's really cold we sometimes add a blanket on top.
