The Cybertron vehicle mode has much nicer proportions for my money, especially around the cab. The larger, paired wheels look much less awkward than the Siege version with just the one small wheel and a glaring empty space, and generally everything flows together into a sleeker but at the same time more imposing cab if that makes any sense.
I've no objection to them choosing this to homage, if anything it's a really nice thing that they have done so, but it doesn't look like an improvement. Not that I've ever owned the original, and thus far I've been pleasantly surprised by Siege toys every time I've seen them in the plastic...

I genuinely thought I was going to break it more than once removing the armour.
The leg armour is RID Magnus reborn, same concertina "you must fold this panel up in the right order" nightmare.
Some genuinely challenging bits just TFing the robot back to robot mode from armoured mode. Odd slidey things going on with the upper body and waist.
Trailer surprisingly solid when you get there but you'll need the instructions to build it. No opening rear doors, no space inside..... and there easily could have been.

The top of the trailer is the body armour (front, back and middle) with the side that is against the robot facing up. The head is hanging down from it and the forearm armour is pegged into the underside. The shoulder armour links the leg armour, which forms the back of the truck, to the front and the folded out sides of the leg armour peg, clip and slot into everything else.

I found him the other day, but no Shockwave. Decided to wait for my BBTS, as I worried about cancelling my preorder for both, then never finding shockwave.
And BBTS wanted slightly less for the pair, than Walmart was charging for each.

Have no fear. Now that I know it really is the 2nd coming of RID Magnus I will never own it!
Other Siege toys are available.

Trust me on this one, I know when a toy will irritate the F*** out of Ralph. See above for some details

I think when you've got the hang of it and know what you're doing, it's fine. But removing the armour the first time was frightening, had to check the instructions to make sure it was right - basically the body armour unfolds and pulls off to the back, the forearm armour is pegged in from the sides. Shoulder and leg armour pull off to the sides. No opening rear doors, no space inside..... and there easily could have been. And he can't carry other Autobots?!?! He can't 'Take the Strain'?!?! That's RUBBISH!!! They can ride on top, just not inside. The toys is exactly the same height as the old Ultra Optimus Primal. The size is dictated by the voyager core providing all the articulation and being armoured up, reminded me a lot of Fans poroject City Commanderin that respect.

The white robot is fab, big and hefty. But transforming the body and arms was challenging - yes the shoulders do pull off to the sides and fold back and once they do yes the chest will fold forward.
I look forward to playing "the wrong trousers" with Cybertron Op

Very disappointed to hear that the trailer can't actually carry any cars. (Resting on top doesn't count.) But that makes this line slightly cheaper for me, I guess.
I'll still be going after a Shockwave when they appear, though. Although Siege Shockwave has a lot of work to do to try and better Cyberverse Ultra Shockwave, who's a lot less detailed, for sure, but at the moment I'm just having lots of fun playing with him. So we'll see...

You can fit a Micromaster car inside Magnus trailer.
The transformation is neat, cribs from 3P Code with the chest slide on the rail. Shockwave leg transformation is very much like 3P Quakewave, and the barrel/arms being straight from the Masterpiece.
