Guilty Pleasures - Fan Choices to make you cringe!

Hi Guys,

Having just bought the Takara Unite Constructicons, I plan on doing what some would call Blasphemy. I fully intend to swap out the Unite Blast Off for the Generations Combiner War Blast Off.

Why?

Because although it betrays the G1 Models, I truly feel a Fighter Jet Alt Mode for Blast Off is a far better fit for the Combaticons than a Shuttle. I will keep the Unite Blast off figure, but it will not be featured on my Collection shelf.

While I'm here making everyone cringe, I'll also add that my favourite ever Megatron figure, is the Titans Return version.

He stands a little taller than the others making him stand out as a leader and once again, I prefer the Jet/Tank Alt modes to the oversized pistol. He looks great leading the seekers I own in Jet mode and can roll over the Autobot cars in tank mode.

The standardised(ish) scale we see these days really lets me build the collection I want!

Anyone else got some cringe-worthy guilty pleasures or against-the-norm preferences?

Nothing to cringe about either! Jet fighter is much better fit than space shuttle. Also UW Blast Off is not a great mold. Not as bad as Brawl, but it's one of the worst limb bots.
Takara is not better than Hasbro by default.

I have both CW and UW Computron, and mixed quite a few bits. UW has the worst decoes. Almost all of them are wrong. But it's got so much new molding that it's hard to ignore.
UW Lightspeed (hate the mold, but it looks more like him in robot) and Nosecone, CW Afterburner and Strafe.
The deco on CW Scattershot is so much better than the bland deco on UW. But UW has all that new tooling. It's hard to decide between them.

I repurposed the "reject" set as RiD Computron.

Also, the only thing that keeps TR Megatron from being the best one is that he's a headmaster.

YES! This. Luckily, my imagination is just as active now as it was as a kid. (Imma pretend my wife has never walked in on me going 'Pew Pew' out loud on more than one occasion.) So I just pop the head master somewhere out of sight when displayed in vehicle mode. Love the fact it fits in the nosecone in jet mode. I also pretend the rear half of the cannon doesn't exist in tank mode...........
