Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 4: Fantastic or Frightful?
Yesterday: Usual busy morning, but all went well. Zoomed Mum again in the afternoon and ironed out some problems with her Zoom with the aid of my brother. And a nice bit of Epic Collection fun late in the evening.
Today: Potentially difficult: The boiler engineer is due which may stretch my head. It's only a year old so service should be easy.... but it's been doing an impersonation of the old one and dripping out the bottom. It's possible water is getting in through the wall. While they're on site they're also going to look at the water out pipe. So we'll be hiding upstairs. J recorder at 10. On the plus side Payday! First of the year!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK, especially the head. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Last of the back and forth dental work appts of the last 4 months now done. Alas, today, The Dentist had to use more aneasthetic as it didn't work first time and the filling was in an awkward place so I am a touch sore. Argh.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday!
Yesterday: Lovely quiet morning albeit one spent waiting for boiler service. They phones to say they were running late, turned up at 1, and were gone in 20 minutes. Struggled a bit later on, but then the noise levels were higher. We'd not set the washing going in the morning, in case the boiler people needed to take the power off, so that was running in the afternoon and hitting my noise sensativity. Equally we had had people in the house to do the boiler surface, albeit masked and we stayed upstairs. Conciously I was relaxed and fine but maybe something was wearing in the back of my head,
Today: J ARC group this morning, L teaching online at 10. Busy morning but not as bad as a Thursday.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: Generally Decent Day. Managed to finally complete what I was writing predicting the Sept-Dec Epics. Managed a good proportion of Homegroup. But the sinuses were absolutely dreadful. The pain was mainly concentrated in a single spot, which was mostly on the rear right top teeth. But it did some moving around, going down into the lower jaw and then up into my forehead and down into the nostril on that side of my face. Very sharp concentrated pain, really painful. Dreadful night, struggled to get off first with the head pain and then the legs joined in in the bad weather. Did not know what to do with myself. Then at a quarter to 4 I remembered what a rush we'd been in at dinner and checked my tablet box discovering I'd missed my evening dose. Slept 4-7. Today will be a struggle
On This Particular Thursday things are rather busy: J has music theory at 9am.... or at least that's the plan, his teacher's interweb is playing up! L teaching 10-11, food collection 11-12 and then putting away. It then gets quiet till the evening when I'm teching for Alpha.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT & Head cope OK and Sinuses improve. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Much has been made of the 5-week wait when applying for Universal Credit. Very little has been said about the fact you also need to wait five weeks to find out what you are going to get or even if you will get anything at all. As the Nice Man on the phone said, I might not get anything at all because my partner is working (so what is the point of National Insurance). I've worked with benefits on other people's behalf for 20 years. All of them were ridiculously complicated but the key difference was you could clearly tell a client at point of application whether they were entitled, what they would get and when (and no 5-week wait). If it wasn't for my partner I'd be down the food banks. The worry about whether I'll get enough (or anything at all) to cover my contributions towards house costs, food, etc is keeping me awake at night.
I thought I was getting fit enough to start looking for work again but the way my head has been of late has told me no. I can't even cope with workmen coming in the house.

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: MUCH easier than I thought it would be. Thanks to all who prayed that I'd get through the day. The Olbas Oil overnight knocked the sinus congestion so it was much milder and spread out. That helped loads and a decent sleep in the afternoon helped. Alpha went well, but while I was teching that I had the news an old friend had died unexpectedly which threw me a bit.
Today: Chip shop lunch, not sure what else is planned.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Liz's sleep apnoea has been all over the place last few weeks, despite the machine. Last night she had a dizzy spell which has worried her - reminiscent of the Labyrinthitis she had MANY years ago before I met her. She rang and asked for a Covid test, they said come in.....
That would explain the spike in my sinus pains this last week.....
