So Banzai-Tron came in today.
He's larger than I'd like him to be. But it works well enough for the character.
Quality is good. Knocks the stuffing out of RED's quality.
But only have two criticisms: His hands don't hold his weapon well, and Razor-Sharp should do more than be a solid block of plastic, for a $50 action figure.
Even if it's not allowed to transform, it should still have some articulation.
It's not going to be everyone's cuppa, but it's likely the best Banzai-Tron we'll ever get.
I do feel like if you're buying these to be placeholders instead of their own collection (At fifty bucks a pop, that's too much for that), Banzai-Tron is one of the few actionmasters that will work at this size.
(Grimlock, Devastator, Rollout, Omega Spreem, Double Punch, Turbomaster, and maybe Gutcruncher and Axer)

As a big fan and collector of Optimus Primes I also have exactly zero dead Primes in my collection. I'm just not entirely sure what I'd do with them. And also by the point they're announced I have the original version of the mold anyway, and I'm a one-version-of-the-mold-only sort of person. (Unless it's used to represent a different character. Or I like it.)

Comicsandcocktails had these in cheap (£15 a pop instead of £50-60). G2 Megs sold out before I could get to it but nabbed an Aligatorcon. At that price I'll give it a go.
I assume TF Ultimates is a dead line by this point though?
