Brief trip out this morning to a hospital car park for a standard procedure covid test before a minor procedure this Thursday. Now I must isolate until then! What I didn't realise was that it is near Smyths! Couldn't go in, obviously, but nice to see a toy shop.

Phil called week 5 'Week 5 is alive' last year. This time last year... Little hats!!! On glasses!!! Just so people know Ralph hasn't gone mad but is staying in a hotel that neither he nor Andy booked. Bathmat in a little bag!!! The bed is enormous. I may never find the way out. Don't forget meeeee. Phil called week 5 'Week 5 is alive' last year. I think we call it that most years as a tribute to Short Circuit. I got complaints last week when I deviated from tradition......

Meanwhile, six months ago to the day, I was in Liverpool at my sister's, that weekend being the only time in the last 10 months that I have set foot inside motorised transport. And the only time in the last 10 months that I've been inside someone else's home.

I think we call it that most years as a tribute to Short Circuit. And there was me thinking it was a tribute to the blended fruit drink. Martin

It's Tuesday!

Today: Busy. J ARC gropup this morning. L teaching from 10-11. Doing some Zoom hosting tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

We literally just got the house repairs completed yesterday and now during the night the back fence has destroyed itself in the wind. Fuck sakes. -Ralph

However, it turn out luckily that that particular bit of fence is actually a neighbour's responsibility. Crisis averted. No need to BUILD THE WALL just yet (which is a summer project, we hope).

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: BUSY morning, with L teaching. Sinuses good ish, not too painful but still aware. Head had a very noise and motion sensative day. I think this was more ASD - I'm borderline - rather than mental health. My sensitivity has grown in recent years but I think it's been much worse since I was ill last spring. MASSIVE fall in bath room right as my meds were being delivered. Epic article DONE, just needs a spell check.
Today: L day off, she's got a call with a friend this morning while J out at ARC group. Food ordering in. Homegroup.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Off to a plush private hospital in the morning for a minor nothing-to-worry-about procedure I have been waiting for since October 2019. I am promised a FREE LUNCH afterwards!!! I am VERY EXCITED to actually go somewhere new, or even to have somewhere to go at all. I am guessing the pre-admission covid test was ok as I wasn't called to say it was positive.
I realised Smyths is nearby and briefly dreamed of click-and-collect goodies but got a hold of myself when I remembered that it's not an essential trip and I currently don't have an income. So, er, no.

I have an unexpectedly soon trip to the GP tomorrow. Nothing terrible or scary, but it will be the first time I've been anywhere outdoors since November.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: Decent day. Epic article up! First long thing I've been able to write in ages. Would love to get back to the DW and complete the story I started in Jan last year but the head's not in it yet. Started work on something Epic prediction for the Sept-Dec period. Made it most of the way through homegroup. Sinus pain quite low, Thank You Lord.
On this particular Thursday: J music Theory at 9. L teaching 10-11. Food collection 11-12. It's also one year since our boiler failed and I retreated to London for some hot water and the start of my extended stay there which, bar a ten day trip home, would last till nearly the end of March when I was brought hom physically and mentally struggling.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK, especially the head as the one year anniversary is preying on it. There's also something very odd going on lower body/leg which we think is a neuro/sensorary thing - pray it goes. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Think of the panini and don't complain that they ironed your sandwich Lunch was fab. Alas, I have very painful wind-like stomach pains after the procedure which I hope will pass very soon. Doctor Quack gave me a one-word diagnosis and buggered off without explaining so I had to look up NHS website for info. Turns out to be a thing must people have which is harmless and they wouldn't know unless they had a test. It can develop into something else but high fibre can sort that. More fruit and veg lies in my future. -Ralph

Covid Jab scheduled for Saturday Afternoon :-) Might be a tad late for the call, no commitment me. You are now the second person I know to get one. The future mother-in-law had her first shot yesterday. It starts to feel more real when you know people who are getting it. Remember to wait at least 21 days after first shot before venturing out! -Ralph

Shan't be going out that quickly.
A number of NHS worker friends have had theirs, plus my mother.
My friend Catherine, Manc lass on my team at church, had hers Friday through work (housing charity) and is the only person I know to cop any side effect. She said she spent Saturday feeling ropey but it was worth it.

Both my parents and my aunt have had dose one. Mrs P has aswell because staff working in special schools have been prioritised where vaccination centres have spare capacity. She had a really short notice call up.
