It's simple. What is 73 X 5?
1/5 of that number is 73

It never used to be. You've changed reality.

I... I can't remember! How quickly the knowledge of the previous reality fades. Almost like... waking from a dream...

NOOOOOO! www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56407155OK, so I'll still be able to get Thorntons chocolate in supermarkets, but NOOOOOO! I don't want to live in a world with no high street shops devoted solely to chocolate. Why did they close in the run-up to Christmas anyway? They're a food shop! Food shops get to stay open, don't they?? Edit: I'm glad I bought quite a bit from Cardiff city centre's Thorntons during the unlock period in the autumn. The staff there were very nice. Martin

On the plus side, Cardiff city centre's Cornish Bakehouse reopened today, though they were all out of lamb & mint pasties by the time I got through the doors on my lunch break.
And tomorrow I get to do a certain thing.

I watch the news every day willing businesses to keep going just a bit longer. I find it really sad and quite disturbing that the decay of our high streets has been massively accelerated by this virus.

One year ago today, Pinwig went to see the stage version of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency at the local Arts Centre. tmukhub.proboards.com/post/403934/threadCould that be the last time any of us saw a live show indoors?? Also one year ago today... Martin I saw Shatners Wrath of Khan thing on the 16th March. I hesitated posting as I wasnt sure it classified as a live stage show, but as it was as tightly scripted as any play or musical and was definitely indoors I feel it should allowed.

One year ago today, Pinwig went to see the stage version of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency at the local Arts Centre. I remember that well; the audience was already diminished by covid fears. Last year we set out to support the arts centre by going at least once a month to a performance, but we only got that far. We were lucky to see the stage version of Upstart Crow too as I'd booked tickets really early in the run. That got walloped by the virus too. I went to see the first (I think) regular performance of Back to the Future The Musical on the 29th February. The Saturday before was the world premier. I doubt they made it to 20 performances before lockdown. Honestly the amount of care and talent that went in to making that show happen, (they started tying to make it in the early 2000s) they had a perfect cast, it looked spectacular. Such a shame, I hope once things have returned to something like normal it (and other shows) are able ot get back up and running.

We were booked for that. Missed our date due to Travel Chaos. Rebooked but lockdown happened before we could go.
