A few days ago, I was reminded of Robotmasters, a line that I'd forgotten about even though I own, I think, the entire standard range. (No exclusives or lucky draw.)
What toys have you rediscovered that you forgot you had?

There's a Studio Series Bumblebee twopack called "Then and Now" with BB Bumblebee and RotF Bumblebee. I do not remember this even being made, much less buying it.
Yet there it was on my couch.

Yep. I squealed with delight to myself (and whatever tiny creatures live in my loft). Also found the empty boxes of Gnaw, Winspan & Pounce, Skyhigh, Skyquake and some others. |

I just discovered I own the 2 Beast Riders vehicles from the Beast Machines toyline. I assume it was bought during my "buy everything TF related before it goes away again" phase.

Not to sound like I'm showing off at all but I am but: I do. Me too. In fact, if I remember correctly - which is appropriate for this thread - I own the entire Beast Machines range. Remember those cheap grey market later Deluxes? They were in Tesco, I think. And the Woolworths-exclusive (possibly also grey market) Primal Prime and Deployers repaints; is that where the Beast Riders repaints turned up? |

The Beast Riders were brilliant in that they were created for the two characters whose toys could not possibly ride them.

I decided to open the four retro Headmasters this evening. After opening the first, Chromedome, I looked up something about him on TFWiki, discovering that he and the other Headmasters are Titans Returns repaints. I should have known this because, I realised as soon as I saw the photo, I own the TR Mindwipe. I also own TR Hardhead and I'm pretty sure I have TR Chromedome, though it's the gun that I recognised. I'm not quite sure about TR Brainstorm; he does have a certain familiarity...

Even though I have lots of stuff in storage, I tend not to forget what is in my collection because of my toy photo-comics which I sometimes re-read and it keeps things fresh. That and despite my best efforts and desire to have "one definitive" version of a character, I have ended up getting multiples...like 3 Ratchets (RID, MP, SS), 3 Starscreams (RID, FOC, SSBay), too many Primes (FOC, SSBay, SSBB, Siege), Hotrod (MP, TR, SS86)....so...
Come to think of it I forget names more often. Like all those RID Decepticons with the animal face...that blue wolf guy with a tail....the little crab dude...Megatronus from that line...)
One thing I can't forget or really understand is why I don’t have any version of G1 Megatron. I have RID, CW Armada, SSBay5, SSDOTM, but...no G1 version...)
Then there are the ones I can't forget like my MP Starsaber.

Got the other 5 tubs pulled from the loft while Liz is away.
While rifling through "Rich's box of temptation" I discovered rather more bits of Shark than I thought I had. Turned out I'd kept the Legends T30 Sky-Byte! I could remember Fuing the T30 one and thought that meant I didn't have one anymore!
In the same box was a DOTM Voyager Skyhammer which was a result as that's a great toy!
My Robotmasters Laser Cycles were in the same box, subbing for their RiD cousins. I knew I had them, just didn't know where they were!

While rifling through "Rich's box of temptation" This is both intriguing and frightening in equal measure... I have spent a lot of time today fiddling with both Hooligan and Zap. Zap is brilliant. A set of Axelerators would not be a bad thing. |
