I do intend to but wasn't feeling inspired by the Sainsbury's selection last night. I feel a trip to Tescopolis might be in order.

Dark chocolate all the way with me. The usual After Eight one and a Lindt dark choc one with Lindor 60% cocoa truffles. My sister's family has sent me a surprise Famous Names egg. www.amazon.co.uk/Famous-Names-Signature-Collection-Easter/dp/B07PCHFZBFThat makes three large dark choc eggs. I don't think I've ever had this much Easter chocolate before. Martin

Apparently not. I went looking for a spare egg in town this morning only to find no sign of Easter anywhere. Local supermarkets that had shelf loads a few days ago - nothing. Not even an Easter card in Smiths. Everything must have been clearanced yesterday. Two days before Easter Sunday! All of the eggs in Waitrose had become barbecue equipment!

You can't even barbecue eggs!
I hate Easter Cards.

Hot cross buns for Good Friday, Easter eggs themselves are for Easter Sunday though to represent the resurrection. So they should have still been on sale yesterday!
Lot of eating at Easter when you think about it.

That was pizza. Can't think of a way to directly link that to Easter.
I'm sure Blueshift could come up with an Easter pizza after that dreadful looking Christmas dinner one though.

Martin This should be how we now value the world. In mini eggs. But wait... The bag was 80 grams. So, one 4p egg weighs 3.2 grams if the weight of the bag isn't included in that. Did you have 400 grams of expensive dark chocolate?

Therefore we can conclude that expensive dark chocolate is more expensive per gram than mini eggs!
Which is quite something because mini eggs are bloody expensive for what they are.
I must look into bulk buying. I'm sure I had a bumper bag from B&M that weighed a ton and was less than three quid. There may be mini egg pricing inequalities in different shops. Which could lead to all kinds of inflation problems now we have adopted mini eggs as a standard worldwide currency.
