I know it's not a Hasbro product, which explains why it looks like it does, but it really needed more work on the mold - it just looks a bit basic and like a knock-off. It just needs more detail on the sculpt - this looks a bit like a prototype, really.

A bit unfair to film the presenter when she hasn't seen the thing or what it does before. She obviously wasn't prepared as she is in utter shock at what it does!
I do like it though - not that I could afford it. The only annoying thing is that it does that twist at the waist just to give himself a fake grill. I'd much rather it transform facing forward like all Primes should.
But it is amazing.

The waist twist seems to be getting more common. I find that it often gives a nice look but is really a bit redundant. Mind you, even as far back as Powermaster, he had two "chests". The video i link to, she says transform. Ah, good. Jason Mewes says "convert." |

That was probably at hasbro's insistence. As they cannot publicly state the toys transform, least it weakens the copyright for "Transformers"

He states it's a prototype and has another command to convert it, but yet, not the best video for sales. Seems a bit temperamental.

Yes, that was my response, too. Are they really selling enough units of these to make them a thing? When not even Turnbull's buying them you have to wonder who is.
That said, I'm fully expecting the next in the line to be Ultra Magnus. Or Nemesis Prime. Which would be the simplest way for them to make a second.
