Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Better than Tuesday, still not great. Not moving well, not much energy, face felt warm at times, tummy a bit funny. Just not quite right. It's pushing buttons for me round being ill this time last year although his is nowhere near that and I know I'm frequently a bit odd Spring/Autumn as seasons change. Liz's back starting to feel better, she was able to sit outside for a bit yesterday.
On This Particular Thursday: Ugh. Up most of the night with what felt like razor blades going through my gut. Lead suspect is the butternut squash soup we had for lunch. Not been sick or anything, just lots of pain and very little sleep. When the alarm went at 7 I gave it another 40 mins. Food order due in later, need to be match fit for that. L has Zoom call with friend.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray for more energy and the body feels better. Pray Liz's back improves. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Hope you and Liz both improve today, Phil.
Long lunch with three work friends at a picnic table in the sunny castle grounds yesterday. Hog roast with a bit of stuffing and gravy, followed by a mint Cornetto.
The castle did not catch fire, yay!

Tidied up the hobby room then screamed when I realised I was missing one of the Hachette TF books with the B&W strips coloured in (the Matrix Quest volume). The screamed again when the cheapest copy I could find online is £50. Er, not in my current circumstances.

I'm due 99/100 this month. Then I'll have to live with the fear that Hachette will fail to deliver on the eight issues I've got missing.

My folks get their 2nd dose on May 14th. Jen the next day. It will finally be legal to travel to Scotland from April 26th (possibly). Still can't go near my folks though as no clue when I'll get the 1st jab. Last saw them 14 months ago. No idea if I'll get up there before Lockdown 4.

Morning All!
It's Friday!
Yesterday: Write off after such a poor night. Tummy was more settled during the day but felt wiped out, with a hurting face and slightly Fluy feelings, common with the CMT when something else is wrong with me. Three hour sleep in the afternoon, prob more than I managed all night put together. But got food sorted OK, got some Epic info I'd been after, got a friend booked in to visit in garden a week today and got a date for Covid Jab II - this coming Thursday! So d ay not without pluses!
Today: No idea. Last night much better, slept straight through. Still not quite right, v slow, v wobbly and ever so slight flyuy ache as detailed above. Face "fun" as in not at all!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back improves. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Browsed the shelves of HMV on my lunch break.
There was no fire today.

Sometimes I can't help but feel a bit sorry for the BBC, which this week appears to be on the verge of having a corporate nervous breakdown. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-56746250"Some people contacted the BBC to complain that the BBC was making it too easy to complain." Martin

Was surprised on my walk today to see a giant soft toy bunny pinned to a tree, despite wearing a badge stating it had had a covid vaccine.

A little bit of "fun" overnight with a car smashed up and, so I'm told, a house front window smashed in. Heard some noise when I was sat at my desk last night but thought it was more to the west rather than out the front.
We've also discovered number 1 has decided to move on: not 100% a surprise I always thought the house was too small for them.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: Much better day than recently, bar not sleeping in the afternoon. Couple of pieces of good news and an unexpected giggle as one of them was broken in a way that left me confused for a second. Cracking night on the TMUK call.
Still rather achy, with my transfers (standing to chair/bed/bath) being a little problematic. Sinuses were bad - lost count of the number of times I steamed - with a little occasional tickle round the teeth in the spots I know it affects.
Today: Church this morning. Tomorrow is looming a tad....
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back continues to improve. Pray I'm prepared for the Wheelchair tomorrow. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Had my first shot of Pfizer about an hour ago. No side-gotta-ACK!-MEEP-MEEP-suitsyousir-GRRRR-FNAR-FNAR-WHEEEEEEEEEEEE-effects to report so far.
I am grateful for the added protection, and think it would be socially irresponsible not to take it when offered, but I do feel guilt also at getting it when people at far higher risk in other countries aren't likely to get it for ages. But that's vaccine nationalism for you.
In other news, outraged by the poor quality when I opened my Horror Top Trumps. If ever there was suitable material for true-friending, if I were into such juvenile practices, this would be it. I shall stick to licensed subject matter in future Top Trumps purchases.

Ok morning though day was a right-off when I came down with a killer headache mid-dayish which lasted about 9 hours. Couldn't concentrate or take anything in during the OU tutorial.

Loft sorting continued today. I discovered my Crossbows and Catapults set, promptly downed tools and because it still has the instructions I could work out exactly which pieces were missing and then costed how much it would be to re-complete the set by buying loose pieces off eBay.
That was when I found out how much those sets go for now, and the even more ridiculous prices for the expansion sets. Mental money!
